3rd National Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) Day Celebration

Sanskar College of Pharmacy and Research, Ghaziabad celebrated 3rd National Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) Day on 10th October 2025 to promote awareness and understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. The Government along with the Indian Drug Manufacturers’ Association (IDMA) planned to celebrate this day on 10 October every year to focus on improving the poor quality of many Indian Drugs. On this occasion, SCPR organized an Oral Presentation on cGMP for Sustainable Quality or Schedule M guidelines. This celebration emphasized the importance of quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and the role of cGMP in ensuring the safety and efficacy of medical products. Through oral presentations and discussions, participants were gained valuable insights into the significance of cGMP, ultimately contributing to improved product quality and public health. All the participants delivered a presentation lasting 3 to 5 minutes, addressing the theme. Judges were evaluated the speeches based on content, delivery, and overall impact. After a thorough evaluation of all the presentations, the winners were announced as Alisha Ashraf (B.Pharm 3rd year), Manvi Jha (B.Pharm 4th year) and Himani Bansal (B.Pharm 3rd year) & Cutee (B.Pharm 3rd year) got first, second and third prizes respectively. The event was successfully coordinated by faculty members Mr. Shubham Pratap Singh and Mr. Lucky Maurya. Winners of the event were congratulated and appreciated by Director – Prof. (Dr.) Babita Kumar, HOD- Dr. Shabnam Ain for their exuberant participation.
