Sanskar College of Pharmacy and Research in Ghaziabad organized an enlightening event on World AIDS Day on December 1, 2023. The participants were the first-year D. Pharm students who engaged in both oral and poster presentations dedicated to raising awareness about AIDS. This year’s theme, “Let communities lead for 2023,” as designated by the World Health Organization, emphasizes the imperative for communities to assume leadership roles in combating AIDS.

The students comprehended the essence of the theme and comprehensively explored the roles and responsibilities of pharmacists. Through their presentations, they elucidated on AIDS, delving into its causes, symptoms, diagnosis, available treatments, as well as preventive and control measures.

This program was meticulously organized under the coordination of Mrs. Nutan Singh, supported by Ms. Manisha and Ms. Pooja Malkani. Their efforts were guided by the HOD, Dr. Anuradha Singh, and our esteemed Director, Dr. Babita Kumar.
