Sanskar College of Pharmacy and Research organized a health talk on breast cancer on October 15, themed “Every Story is Unique, Every Journey Matters.” The event highlighted that each breast cancer journey is shaped by personal circumstances and support, stressing the importance of empathy and awareness.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, with a focus on early detection through self-examinations, screenings, and mammography. Dr. Naman Utreja from GS Medical College spoke to students and female faculty about prevention and timely detection, emphasizing a healthy lifestyle and regular self-checks. Dr. Deepshikha conducted personal check-ups for those interested and demonstrated how to perform monthly breast self-examinations.
The program was coordinated by Dr. Anuradha Singh, Dr. Shabnam Ain, Dr. Ayushi, and Ms. Awantika, under the guidance of Director Dr. Dharmendra Singh.
