Sanskar College of Pharmacy and Research-Sanskar Educational Group, Ghaziabad organized a medical camp at HS Public School, Hapur on 04.12.2025 with the aim of promoting health awareness among students and helping them understand the importance of knowing their blood group. The camp was conducted by a dedicated team of B.Pharm first year students under the guidance of Mr. Arjun Nagar (faculty member) and Mr. Bobender (staff member). During the camp, blood group testing was carried out for students of all classes. The process was conducted systematically, maintaining proper hygiene and safety protocols. Each student received a record of their blood group, along with guidance on why this information is essential in emergencies, medical treatments and blood donation. The process of determination of blood group was conducted by a simple antigen-antibody reaction. Awareness session was also conducted, focusing on various blood-related facts. Students were informed about the different blood groups and the concept of universal donors and universal recipients. The importance of voluntary blood donation, Rh factor compatibility, and the need for maintaining good health to ensure healthy blood were explained in simple, interactive ways. Special emphasis was placed on debunking common myths related to blood donation and encouraging students to spread awareness in their families and communities. The camp proved to be highly informative and beneficial. It not only equipped students with valuable health information but also fostered a sense of social responsibility. The school extended its gratitude to the SCPR team for their efforts and asked them to organize more such initiatives in the future.
