

National epilepsy day was observed with great enthusiasm at Sanskar College of Pharmacy and Research, Ghaziabad on 17th November 2025. The event aimed to spread awareness about epilepsy, break the stigma surrounding the condition, and empower future healthcare professionals with accurate knowledge and empathy.
The program began with an informative session on epilepsy- its causes, symptoms, myths and management. Faculty members highlighted the importance of early diagnosis, regular medication, and emotional support for individuals living with epilepsy. Students were encouraged to understand how pharmacist can play a key role in patient counseling and community awareness.
The theme selected for this year was: “Misconceptions often cause unnecessary delays in treatment”.
