Sankar college of pharmacy and research organized on 14 Nov 2025. On World Diabetes Day, students explored the significance of understanding diabetes, a chronic condition affecting millions worldwide. They learned about the different types of diabetes, including Type 1, Type 2, and gestational diabetes, as well as their causes, symptoms, and potential complications.

The day highlighted the importance of a balanced diet, regular exercise, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle in preventing or managing diabetes. Students also gained insights into the role of insulin, blood sugar monitoring, and advances in medical treatments. By participating in discussions and activities, they developed an appreciation for the need for early detection and the importance of supporting individuals living with diabetes to promote healthier communities.

The theme selected for this year was: “Diabetes and Well-Being”.

The Event was well-coordinated by coordinators Ms. Sonal Mittal, Ms. Nutan Singh & Ms. Sangeeta under the guidance of respected Dr. Anuradha HOD D.Pharm, Dr. Shabnam Ain HOD B.Pharm & Dr. Babita Kumar Director Pharmacy.
