SUMMARY:Industrial visit to Dabur Research Foundation (DRF)
DESCRIPTION:Sanskar College of Pharmacy and Research\, Ghaziabad organized an Industrial visit to Dabur Research Foundation (DRF) on 16th April\, 2024 for B.Pharm III year Students. DRF is an Indian Contract Research Organization established in 1979 and one of the best preclinical research facility spread over in around 75000 sq ft. area. DRF offer preclinical services in Drug Discovery and Development\, ranging from identification of potential lead molecules\, drug development to IND enabling studies to global Biotech\, Pharma\, Phytopharmaceuticals Cosmeceuticals and academia sectors. Students were exposed to various functional areas of Pharmacology\, Toxicology and Analytical laboratories and state of the art Animal Facility. There were 45 Students along with one Faculty Member (Mr. Sazid Khan) who became a part of the Industrial Trip. The visit was very well co-ordinated by Dr. Qurratul Ain. It was very informative and learning experience for students and faculty member. This visit provided an excellent opportunity to get familiar with Pharmaceutical Industry environment.
