Jitendra Kumar\, Deputy General Manager of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited\, Nashik\, Maharashtra.\n\n\nThe event began with a warm welcome address by Ms. Bharti Sharma\, Assistant Professor\, creating an engaging atmosphere for the session. Er. Jitendra Kumar delivered a highly interactive lecture on “Industry Expectations from Engineering Graduates”\, offering invaluable insights into the skills and mindset required to succeed in the industry.\n\n\nThe lecture was thought-provoking and well-received by students and faculty\, sparking meaningful discussions. The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by the Director of Engineering\, who appreciated Er. DESCRIPTION:Celebration of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU)\, Lucknow Inaugural Day\nSanskar College of Pharmacy and Research (SCPR)\, Ghaziabad celebrated University Inaugural Day of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU)\, Lucknow on 08th May 2025 to promote awareness among students. It was actually established on May 8\, 2000\, as Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU) and later renamed AKTU in 2015. On this occasion\, SCPR organized Tree plantation activity and an Essay writing competition on Contribution of youth in the Advancement of Technical Education. After a thorough evaluation of all the essay scripts\, the winners were announced as Himani Bansal\, Alisha Ashraf\, Deepanshi Sharma and Vishakha Yadav\, B.Pharm 2nd year got first\, second and third prizes respectively. The event was successfully coordinated by faculty members Ms. Bhawna Bisht and Mr. Lucky Maurya. Winners of the event were congratulated and appreciated by Director – Prof. (Dr.) Babita Kumar\, HOD- Dr. Shabnam Ain for their exuberant participation.

SUMMARY:World Pneumonia Day
DESCRIPTION:Sankar College of Pharmacy and Research organized world pneumonia day on 12 Nov 2024. On World Pneumonia Day\, students gained valuable knowledge about pneumonia\, a leading cause of illness and death worldwide\, particularly among children and the elderly. They learned about its causes\, including bacterial\, viral\, and fungal infections\, as well as its symptoms\, such as fever\, difficulty breathing\, and chest pain. The day highlighted the importance of preventive measures like vaccination\, good hygiene practices\, and proper nutrition to reduce the risk of pneumonia. Students also explored the impact of timely diagnosis and treatment\, including antibiotics and supportive care\, in managing the disease effectively. By participating in discussions and activities\, they became more aware of the global efforts to combat pneumonia and the role they can play in promoting health awareness and prevention in their communities.\nThe theme selected for this year was: “Child Survival”.\nThe winners of events are:\ni. Oral Presentation- Krishna\nii. Poster Presentation- (1) Somya Singh (2) Lakhan\niii. Quiz Competition- Lakhan\, Taksh\, Arun\, Shailendra\nThe Event was well-coordinated by coordinators Ms. Sonal Mittal\, Ms. Nutan Singh & Ms. Sangeeta under the guidance of respected Dr. Anuradha HOD D.Pharm\, Dr. Shabnam Ain HOD B.Pharm & Dr. Babita Kumar Director Pharmacy.
