SUMMARY:Swachhata Pakhwada campaign
DESCRIPTION:Swachhata Pakhwada is a campaign launched by the Government of India to promote cleanliness and sanitation in the country. The campaign is an important initiative to raise awareness about the importance of cleanliness and to encourage citizens to take action towards creating a cleaner and healthier India. To commemorate the Swachhata Pakhwada campaign\, a speech competition was organized on the themes “Green India\, Clean India” and “Waste to Wealth” on 4 October 2024 during celebration of Swachhata Pakhwada from 2nd October to 31st October 2024. The competition was designed to encourage students to think critically about the importance of cleanliness and sustainability in our environment and to promote awareness about the significance of waste management and its potential to create wealth among students and to encourage them to take action towards reducing waste and creating a sustainable future.More than 100 students of B.Pharm & D.Pharm Students of Sanskar College of Pharmacy and Research and 15 Faculty members were participated in this event. All the participants delivered a speech lasting 3 to 5 minutes\, addressing the theme. Judges were evaluated the speeches based on content\, delivery\, and overall impact. The speech should leave a lasting impression on the audience and inspire them to take action towards creating a cleaner and greener India. After a thorough evaluation of all the speeches\, the winners were announced as Himani (B.Pharm 2nd year)\, Alisha B.Pharm 2nd year) andMahfooz (B.Pharm 1st year) got first\, second and third prize respectively. The winners’ speeches showcased their creativity\, knowledge and passion for creating a cleaner and greener India. All participants’ speech was clear\, thoughtful and well-delivered. The event was successfully coordinated by faculty members Ms. Nutan\, Ms. Sonal\, Mr. Sazid and Mr. Lucky. Winners of this event were congratulated and appreciated by Director – Prof. (Dr.) Babita Kumar\, HOD- Dr. Shabnam Ain for their exuberant participation. The event encouraged students to think critically about the importance of cleanliness and environmental sustainability in our daily lives. We hope that this competition will inspire more students to take action towards creating a better future for our country. The campaign has had a significant impact on promoting awareness about cleanliness and improving cleanliness standards in public places\, schools\, and homes.

SUMMARY:Industrial visit to Sudha Solvents Pvt. Ltd
DESCRIPTION:Sanskar College of Pharmacy and Research\, Ghaziabad organized an Industrial visit to Sudha Solvents Pvt. Ltd.\, Meerut on 5th October\, 2024 for B.Pharm students. The industrial visit to Sudha Solvents Pvt. Ltd. aimed to provide B.Pharm students with practical insights into the pharmaceutical manufacturing process and the operational aspects of a solvent manufacturing unit. This experience is crucial for bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world application in the pharmaceutical industry. Sudha Solvents Pvt. Ltd. is a well-established company specializing in the production of various solvents and chemicals used in pharmaceuticals and other industries. The company is known for its commitment to quality and adherence to safety standards. The visit began with an introductory session conducted by the company’s management. They provided an overview of the company’s history\, mission\, and vision\, highlighting its contributions to the pharmaceutical sector. Students were given a guided tour of the manufacturing facility. They observed the production line\, including raw material processing\, solvent extraction\, and packaging operations. Students learned about the various tests conducted to ensure the purity and quality of the solvents produced. The lab personnel explained analytical techniques like chromatography and spectrophotometry. The students were briefed on the safety protocols implemented in the plant\, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)\, emergency procedures\, and environmental safety measures. It was an enriching experience for B.Pharm students\, providing valuable insights into the practical aspects of the pharmaceutical industry. Such visits are essential for students to apply their theoretical knowledge and prepare for their future careers in pharmacy. There were 43 Students and Faculty Members (Dr. Ajeet and Mr.Sazid) who became a part of the Industrial Trip. The visit was very well co-ordinated by Dr. Qurratul Ain. We extend our gratitude to the management and staff of Sudha Solvents Pvt. Ltd. for their warm hospitality and informative sessions

SUMMARY:Industrial visit to Mother Dairy
DESCRIPTION:Sanskar College of Management and Professional Studies (SCMPS)\, Sanskar Educational Group\, Ghaziabadon 10th October 2024 organised an intriguing visit to Mother Dairy\,Vinod Nagar Delhi which isone of the largest Liquid milk plant of Asia\, for the students of BBA as part of industrial visit. The visit intended to give students an exposure to the overall operation management of a manufacturing unit.\nThe visit started with welcome milk drink to all students at the plant. Plant Officer Shri R K Pillai\, PR manager of Mother Dairy plant through a guided tour and power point presentation\, shared the details of different products viz. Mother Dairy\, Safal and Dhara.Testing the purity of milk through various methods were shown. Different process of pasteurization\, hominization plants and packaging which is done at Pilakwa\, UP plant was explained to students in detail. The day concluded with ice cream treat to students and faculty coordinators from SCMPS.\nSCMPS is committed to hosting such cognitive visits in future too for empowering students to hone theirpotential. DESCRIPTION:2nd National Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) Day Celebration\nOral Presentation oncGMP in manufacturing and Distribution\n\n\nSanskar College of Pharmacy and Research\, Ghaziabad celebrated 2nd National Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) Day on 10th October 2024 to promote awareness and understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors.The Government along with the Indian Drug Manufacturers’ Association (IDMA) planned to celebrate this day on 10 October every year to focus on improving the poor quality of many Indian Drugs.The theme selected for this year is:THINK cGMP – cGMP IS QUALITY. On this occasion\, SCPR organized an Oral Presentation on cGMP in manufacturing and Distribution.This celebration emphasized the importance of quality assurance\, regulatory compliance\, and the role of cGMP in ensuring the safety and efficacy of medical products.Through oral presentations and discussions\, participants were gained valuable insights into the significance of cGMP\, ultimately contributing to improved product quality and public health.All the participants delivered a presentation lasting 3 to 5 minutes\, addressing the theme. SUMMARY:Visit to Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission\, Ghaziabad
DESCRIPTION:Sanskar College of Pharmacy and Research\, Ghaziabad organized visit to Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission\, Ghaziabad on 23th\, 24th & 25th October\, 2024 for B.Pharm III year students & D. Pharm II year students. Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC) is an autonomous Institution of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare which sets standards for all drugs that are manufactured\, sold and consumed in India. The set of standards are published under the title Indian Pharmacopoeia (IP). The visit provided an excellent opportunity to students to interact with scientists and visited well equipped laboratories. Students got exposure to current work practices on various equipments like High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC)\, Ultra-violet Spectroscopy (UV)\, Gas Chromatography (GC) and many more as opposed to possibly theoretical knowledge being taught at the college. Students also learnt about Pharmacovigilance Programme of India (PvPI) and Materilovigilance Programme of India (MvPI). This visit was very well co-ordinated by faculty members\, Mr. Arjun Nagar\, Mr. Ankur Yadav and Ms. Nutan.

It was a moment of great pride for SEG family to interact with Ms. Saumya Sharma\, alumni of B.Pharm (20017-2021)\, working as Subject Matter Expert in EXL Services Pvt.Ltd.\, Noida.She addressed the audience by sharing her overwhelming experience in the Institution. Sheinspired students by showcasing real-world applications of the skills and knowledge they are currently acquiring.Entire session spanned for 1 hour in which she highlighted industry trends\, career strategies and personal experiences. This interaction provided a valuable opportunity for students to hear firsthand about the professional journeys\, challenges and achievements of Alumni encouraging them for their future.Many students interacted with her one-on-one after the talk was over. The talk was energetic\, inspiring and motivating for the students. The participants raised many doubts and queries which were promptly answered by Ms. Saumya.The whole session was very well organized by Dr. Qurratul Ain (Co-ordinator-Alumni Committee) and Dr. Ajeet with the great support of Director\, Prof. (Dr.) Babita Kumar.
