Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU)\, Lucknow on 08th May 2025 to promote awareness among students. It was actually established on May 8\, 2000\, as Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU) and later renamed AKTU in 2015. On this occasion\, SCPR organized Tree plantation activity and an Essay writing competition on Contribution of youth in the Advancement of Technical Education. After a thorough evaluation of all the essay scripts\, the winners were announced as Himani Bansal\, Alisha Ashraf\, Deepanshi Sharma and Vishakha Yadav\, B.Pharm 2nd year got first\, second and third prizes respectively. The event was successfully coordinated by faculty members Ms. Bhawna Bisht and Mr. Lucky Maurya. Winners of the event were congratulated and appreciated by Director – Prof. (Dr.) Babita Kumar\, HOD- Dr. Shabnam Ain for their exuberant participation.

DESCRIPTION:Sanskar College of Pharmacy and Research organized a Farewell Party “SAYONARA ’25” on 19 June 2025 for the Outgoing Pharmacists at the college premises to give them a warm blessing. The program began with Lamp Lightening Ceremony with many wonderful performances then followed with Ramp walk where students wore different attire. Some exciting games were also arranged for the seniors and were enjoyed by all. Token of love and appreciation was given to the seniors by their juniors. Saurabh and Shraddha from B. Pharm 4th year honored with the title of Mr. Farewell & Ms. Farewell 2025 that added to Zest in the program. Some other titles like Mr. Handsome won by Tushar Tomer and Ms. Eve won by Anshika Sharma. The event was well planned and beautifully organized by III year students and Faculty coordinators\, Dr. Naveen Ray and Ms. Preeti. DESCRIPTION:The Sanskar is an invaluable gift of India’s ancient tradition. By changing the lifestyle and creating consciousness\, it can help in well-being. Sanskar Educational Group celebrated International Yoga Day was celebrated by the students\, staff members and faculty members at SEG Campus with great enthusiasm. The theme for this year’s celebration was “Yoga for One earth\, One Health.” Students of various departments and faculty members performed Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutation) to get physical and mental health benefits and reduces stress and anxiety. Warm up exercises\, sitting and standing asana were also taken by them. Regular practice of yoga will surely help the students achieve a better life physically\, mentally and spiritually as well. The Yoga session was conducted by experienced yoga instructors\, Mr. Shivam Sharma and Ms. Manya. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students\, faculty members\, Heads of Departments and Directors all coming together to embrace yoga for better health and wellness.

DESCRIPTION:Sanskar College of Pharmacy and Research\, Ghaziabad organized an inspiring Alumni Talk on 11.08.2025 to bridge the gap between current students and our esteemed alumni. It was a moment of great pride for SEG family to interact with Ms. Soumya Sharma\, alumni of B.Pharm (20017-2021)\, working as Assistant Manager in EXL Services Pvt. Ltd.\, Noida. She addressed the audience by sharing her overwhelming experience in the Institution. She inspired students by showcasing real-world applications of the skills and knowledge they are currently acquiring. Entire session spanned for 1 hour in which she highlighted industry trends\, career strategies and personal experiences. This interaction provided a valuable opportunity for students to hear firsthand about the professional journeys\, challenges and achievements of Alumni encouraging them for their future. Many students interacted with her one-on-one after the talk was over. The talk was energetic\, inspiring and motivating for the students. The participants raised many doubts and queries which were promptly answered by Ms. Soumya. The whole session was very well organized by Dr. Qurratul Ain (Co-ordinator-Alumni Committee) and coordinated by Dr. Ajeet\, Dr.Naveen\, Mr. Shubham and Ms. Tanvi with the great support of Director\, Prof. (Dr.) Babita Kumar.

DESCRIPTION:Sanskar College of Pharmacy and Research\, Sanskar Educational Group celebrated Har Ghar Tiranga campaign with great enthusiasm. The Har Ghar Tiranga campaign\, initiated by the Government of India\, aims to encourage citizens to hoist the national flag at their homes\, fostering a sense of patriotism and national unity. This campaign is an excellent way to promote love for the country and respect for the national flag. The event was organized to promote patriotism and national pride among students. A series of events such as Rangoli competition\, Tiranga Rally\, and Rakhi making Competition were organized. Students created vibrant Rangoli designs and tricolor Rakhi showcasing the Indian flag and patriotic themes. They also participated in a rally\, carrying flags and singing patriotic songs. After a thorough evaluation of all the participants\, Dushyant and Lucky were announced as the winners of the Rakhi competition for their exceptional artistry and meaningful concepts. The event was successfully coordinated by faculty members Dr. Ajeet\, Ms. Disha Gupta\, Ms.Tanvi\, Ms. Preeti and Ms. Siddhi Gaur. SUMMARY:Industrial visit to Yakult Danone India Pvt. Ltd.
DESCRIPTION:Sanskar College of Pharmacy and Research\, Ghaziabad organized an Industrial visit to Yakult Danone India Pvt. Ltd. Sonipat\, Haryana on 16th September\, 2025 for B.Pharm II year students. Yakult Danone is a globally renowned company specializing in the production of probiotic beverages and known for its product\, “Yakult”. The company operates with a strong emphasis on health benefits and quality. This industrial visit aimed to give students practical insights into the manufacturing processes of nutraceutical products particularly the probiotic drink Yakult and to educate them about quality control\, regulatory compliance and the role of probiotics in health. The visit began with an orientation session where the students were introduced to the history of Yakult\, importance of probiotics and role of the company in promoting a healthy lifestyle. The visit provided a detailed view of the entire production cycle for Yakult from fermentation to packaging\, helping students relate theoretical knowledge to practical applications. Exposure to GMP and environmental safety practices highlighted the importance of regulatory compliance in the pharmaceutical industry. The visit was a valuable educational experience for the pharmacy students. This experience not only enriched the students’ understanding of manufacturing and quality standards but also inspired them to consider future careers in the pharmaceutical and nutraceutical industries. There were 88 Students and 2 faculty members (Mr. Sazid and Ms.Bhawna Bisht) who became a part of the Industrial Trip. The visit was arranged by Ms. Rinki Tyagi (Training & Placement Cell Incharge) and very well co-ordinated by Dr. Qurratul Ain (Industrial Trip co-ordinator) with a great support of Director- Prof. (Dr.) Babita Kumar. We extend our gratitude to the management and staff of Yakult Danone India Pvt. Ltd. for their warm hospitality and informative session.

SUMMARY:Sewa Pakhwada Campaign
DESCRIPTION:The Sewa Pakhwada Campaign\, an initiative by the Government of India\, aims to inspire citizens to engage in community service and promote social welfare. The 2025 campaign took place from September 17 to October 2\, coinciding with the celebration of Gandhi Jayanti\, emphasizing the principles of service and community betterment. As part of the Sewa Pakhwada Campaign 2025\, a speech competition on Nutrition\, Tree Plantation and Cleaning activity was organized by Sanskar College of Pharmacy and Research\, Ghaziabad. This event aimed to encourage participants to aware about the role of Nutrition\, tree plantation and cleanliness in their health and the role of healthy citizens in contributing to national development. The competition was organized on 23rd September and 24th September fostering a spirit of social responsibility. B.Pharm & D.Pharm Students of Sanskar College of Pharmacy and Research were participated with great zeal and enthusiasm. All the participants delivered a speech lasting 3 to 5 minutes\, addressing the theme of Nutrition & its impact on overall health. A platform for these activities\, not only highlighted the importance of trees\, cleaning and nutrition but also encouraged community involvement. DESCRIPTION:Sanskar College of Pharmacy & Research organized Guest Lecture on Pharmacovigilance Programme of India: Redefining Drug Safety on 19th September 2025 during 5th National Pharmacovigilance Week celebration from 17th – 23rd September 2025. Eminent speaker\, Dr. R S Ray\, Scientific Assistant at National Coordination Centre for Pharmacovigilance Programme of India at Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission\, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare\, Govt of India familiarized and accustomed the students to various different Pharmacovigilance methods and current regulatory requirements of Pharmacovigilance in India. He informed that Medicines safety monitoring is a continuous and dynamic process throughout all the phases of the life cycle of a drug. During the drug development\, safety is investigated in different phases like preclinical Toxicity studies\, Clinical trial etc. He shared that Pharmacovigilance is the process of identifying and responding to drug safety issues. Pharmacovigilance industry has grown considerably over the past 10 to 15 years. Robust regulatory arrangements provide the foundation for a national method of medicine safety and for public confidence in medicines. The National Regulatory Authority\, CDSCO and Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission play the crucial role in the area of Pharmacovigilance and Drug Safety in the country. Most National Pharmacovigilance Centres across the globe depends on the spontaneous and voluntary reporting of adverse drug reactions. A major limiting factor of spontaneous reporting systems is under reporting leading to low reporting rates of Adverse drug reactions (ADR). His talk addressed different factors associated with underreporting of ADR and ways to overcome it. The lecture was very well received by the B.Pharm students. The information and practical insight in his deliberation will be useful for the students throughout their career. The event was very well co-ordinated by Dr Qurratul Ain\, Dr Ajeet\, Ms. Nidhi Jain and HODs Dr Shabnam Ain and Dr Anuradha Singh with a great support of Director Prof. (Dr.) Babita Kumar. She also conveyed good wishes to all the students for their bright future.

SUMMARY:WORLD PHARMACIST DAY-25 September 2025
DESCRIPTION:Sanskar College of Pharmacy and Research celebrated the World Pharmacists’ Day on 25th September 2025. The purpose of the celebration was to understand and celebrate the role of Pharmacist’s in our society and in healthcare system. On this day all the services offered by Pharmacists were recognized and valued. Each year welcomes a new theme to develop the showcase the pharmacist in their positive effect on health. The theme of this year’s world pharmacist day is “Think Health\, Think Pharmacist”. The theme highlights the indispensable contributions of Pharmacists in safeguarding public health and improving patient outcomes. The event started with traditional auspicious lamp-lightening ceremony as a tribute to MAA Saraswati. This was followed by Oath taking ceremony by budding Pharmacist\, Dignitaries & Faculty members. Beautiful song performances by B.Pharm students gave a divine start to the World Pharmacists Day celebration. The Chief Guests for the program was Dr. Meenakshi Dahiya\, Principal Scientific Officer\, Head-QA & Phyto division Training Incharge\, Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission- Ghaziabad\, who gave an inspirational speech where she highlighted on “Healthy Woman\, Empowered Family Campaign” which is a nationwide health initiative launched by the Prime Minister of India in September 2025\, with the aim of improving the health and nutrition of women and children across India. She also emphasized the role of pharmacists and the contributions made by them to the health care system. On the eve of pharmacist day Pharma Quiz and Debate competitions were organized to bring out the innate talent of the students. The students had actively participated in the celebration with great zeal and enthusiasm. In Debate Competition first & second position was hold by Lakshay Bhatnagar\, B.Pharm II year & Devashish Pal B.Pharm IV year: Far the motion. And Devashish Pal\, B.Pharm IV year\, Garima Sharma\, B.Pharm I year): Against the motion. In Pharma Quiz\, Team DOSAGE DIETIES (Radhika\, B.Pharm Ist year\, Aditya Sharma\, B.Pharm IInd year\, Cutee\, B.Pharm IIIrd year\, Aditya Raj\, B.Pharm IV year\, Arvind\, D.Pharm II year) won the first prize and Team BRAINY BRIGADE (Yashasvi\, B.Pharm Ist year\, Ghanshyam\, B.Pharm IInd year\, Hiten Khattar\, B.Pharm IIIrd year\, Kishan\, B.Pharm IV year\, Rihan\, D.Pharm I year) won the second prize. Winners of different activities were awarded by the Chief Guests- Dr. Meenakshi Dahiya (Principal Scientific Officer\, IPC-Ghaziabad)\, Director- Prof. (Dr.) Babita Kumar\, HODs Dr. Shabnam Ain\, Dr. Anuradha Singh and event co-ordinators. At the conclusion of the program Director\, Prof. (Dr.) Babita Kumar congratulated to all the winners\, participants and event coordinators for making the celebration a huge success. The programme ended with a vote of thanks and pledge of national anthem.

SUMMARY:3rd National Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) Day Celebration
DESCRIPTION:Sanskar College of Pharmacy and Research\, Ghaziabad celebrated 3rd National Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) Day on 10th October 2025 to promote awareness and understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. The Government along with the Indian Drug Manufacturers’ Association (IDMA) planned to celebrate this day on 10 October every year to focus on improving the poor quality of many Indian Drugs. On this occasion\, SCPR organized an Oral Presentation on cGMP for Sustainable Quality or Schedule M guidelines. This celebration emphasized the importance of quality assurance\, regulatory compliance\, and the role of cGMP in ensuring the safety and efficacy of medical products. Through oral presentations and discussions\, participants were gained valuable insights into the significance of cGMP\, ultimately contributing to improved product quality and public health. All the participants delivered a presentation lasting 3 to 5 minutes\, addressing the theme. Judges were evaluated the speeches based on content\, delivery\, and overall impact. After a thorough evaluation of all the presentations\, the winners were announced as Alisha Ashraf (B.Pharm 3rd year)\, Manvi Jha (B.Pharm 4th year) and Himani Bansal (B.Pharm 3rd year) & Cutee (B.Pharm 3rd year) got first\, second and third prizes respectively. The event was successfully coordinated by faculty members Mr. Shubham Pratap Singh and Mr. Lucky Maurya. Winners of the event were congratulated and appreciated by Director – Prof. (Dr.) Babita Kumar\, HOD- Dr. Shabnam Ain for their exuberant participation.

DESCRIPTION:Sanskar College of Pharmacy and Research\, Ghaziabad organized an inspiring Alumni Talk on 10.10.2025 to bridge the gap between current students and our esteemed alumni. It was a moment of great pride for SEG family to interact with Ms. Vishakha Tyagi\, alumni of B.Pharm (20021-2025)\, pursuing Masters in Biotechnology Programme\, Matej Bel University (Public University in Banská Bystrica)\, Slovakia\, Europe. She addressed the audience by sharing her overwhelming experience in the Institution. The talk was delivered on opportunities in Abroad after B.Pharm. She inspired students by showcasing real-world applications of the skills and knowledge they are currently acquiring. Entire session spanned for 1 hour in which she highlighted Industry trends\, career strategies and personal experiences. This interaction provided a valuable opportunity for students to hear firsthand about the professional journeys\, challenges and achievements of Alumni encouraging them for their future. Many students interacted with her one-on-one after the talk was over. The talk was energetic\, inspiring and motivating for the students. The participants raised many doubts and queries which were promptly answered by Ms. Vishakha. The whole session was very well organized by Dr. Qurratul Ain (Co-ordinator-Alumni Committee) and coordinated by Dr. Ajeet\, Ms. Bhawna\, Ms. Disha and Ms. Tanvi with the great support of Director\, Prof. (Dr.) Babita Kumar.

They learned about its causes\, including bacterial\, viral\, and fungal infections\, as well as its symptoms\, such as fever\, difficulty breathing\, and chest pain. The day highlighted the importance of preventive measures like vaccination\, good hygiene practices\, and proper nutrition to reduce the risk of pneumonia. Students also explored the impact of timely diagnosis and treatment\, including antibiotics and supportive care\, in managing the disease effectively. By participating in discussions and activities\, they became more aware of the global efforts to combat pneumonia and the role they can play in promoting health awareness and prevention in their communities.\nThe theme selected for this year was: “Child Survival”.\nThe winners of events are:\ni. This year’s theme of National Pharmacy week 2025 is: “Pharmacists as Advocates of Vaccination”. The different events like Oral Presentation\, Essay writing Competition\, Pharma Quiz and Blood donation camp were organized on this occasion. The event was inaugurated with traditional auspicious lamp lightening ceremony as a tribute to MAA Saraswati by Mrs. Manisha Gupta\, Chairperson- Sanskar Educational Group\, Director Prof. (Dr.) Babita Kumar\, HOD-Pharmacy Dr. Shabnam Ain\, Dr. Anuradha Singh\, Dr. Qurratul Ain\, Dr. Ajeet. Blood Donation Camp was organized on 21st November\, 2025 in association with Rotary Club of Ghaziabad\, Sapphire. It provides a platform for faculty members\, students and staff members to contribute to this noble cause. In this camp\, more than 150 blood units were successfully collected. Essay writing competition\, Quiz competition and Oral presentation were also organized on 18th\, 19th and 20th November during the celebration of National Pharmacy Week (NPW). The students had actively participated in the events with great zeal and enthusiasm. In Oral Competition first\, second and third Position was hold by Mehfooz (B.Pharm II yr)\, Himani Bansal (B.Pharm III yr)\, Misbah Waris Khan (B.Pharm II yr) and Granth Bansal (B.Pharm I yr). In Essay writing competition first\, second and third Position was hold by Misbah Waris Khan (B.Pharm II year)\, Manvi Jha (B.Pharm IV year) and Granth Bansal (B.Pharm Ist year) respectively. Team Cure Chasers – Cutee. B.Pharm III year\, Mohit Mittal B.Pharm IV year\, Mehfooz B.Pharm II yr\, Soumya Singh. D. Pharm I yr and Suhail. B.Pharm I yr) was the winner of Quiz Competition. And the Team Drug Detectives-Radhika Shishodia B.Pharm I yr\, Ghanshyam Sharma B.Pharm II yr\, Himani bansal. B.Pharm III yr\, Varun Kumar. B. Pharm IV year and Kajal. D. Pharm II yr was the runner. On this occasion\, Director- SCPR\, Dr. Babita Kumar\, HOD and all event co-ordinators (Dr Swati\, Dr Naveen\, Ms. Nidhi\, Mr. Shubham\, Mr. Lucky\, Mr.Arjun\, Mr. Abhinav\, Ms. Bhawna\, Ms. Nutan\, Ms.Pooja\, Ms. Rajandeep\, Ms. Siddhi\, Ms. Disha\, Ms.Tanvi and Ms.Preeti) appreciated all the winners & participants for their extraordinary performance.

SUMMARY:National epilepsy day
DESCRIPTION:National epilepsy day was observed with great enthusiasm at Sanskar College of Pharmacy and Research\, Ghaziabad on 17th November 2025. The event aimed to spread awareness about epilepsy\, break the stigma surrounding the condition\, and empower future healthcare professionals with accurate knowledge and empathy.\nThe program began with an informative session on epilepsy- its causes\, symptoms\, myths and management. Faculty members highlighted the importance of early diagnosis\, regular medication\, and emotional support for individuals living with epilepsy. Students were encouraged to understand how pharmacist can play a key role in patient counseling and community awareness.\nThe theme selected for this year was: “Misconceptions often cause unnecessary delays in treatment”.\nA series of interactive and engaging activities were conducted:\nBrahmari pranayama\nOral presentation\nMemory flash challenge\nThe winner of events are:\n1. SUMMARY:Alumni Talk with Mr. Hashim Mansoori
DESCRIPTION:Sanskar College of Pharmacy and Research\, Ghaziabad organized an inspiring Alumni Talk on 17.11.2025 to bridge the gap between current students and our esteemed alumni. It was a moment of great pride for SEG family to interact with Mr. Hashim Mansoori\, alumni of B.Pharm (Batch: 2014-2018)\, working as Founder-Global Pharmacovigilance Academy\, Pharmaceutical Compliance and Regulatory Certification. The aim of this session is to make the students aware about the career opportunities and scope of Pharmacovigilance for Pharmacists. 110 students from B.Pharm III year and IV year were participated with a greater zeal and enthusiasm. He addressed the audience by sharing her overwhelming experience in the Institution. He inspired students by showcasing real-world applications of the skills and knowledge they are currently acquiring. This interaction provided a valuable opportunity for students to hear firsthand about the professional journeys\, challenges and achievements of Alumni encouraging them for their future. The talk was energetic\, inspiring and motivating for the students. The whole session was very well organized by Dr. Qurratul Ain (Co-ordinator-Alumni Committee) and coordinated by Ms. Nidhi Jain and Mr. Shubham Pratap Singh with the great support of Director\, Prof. (Dr.) Babita Kumar\, Dr Shabnam Ain (HOD-Pharmacy) and Dr Anuradha Singh (HOD-D.Pharm).

SUMMARY:Awareness Programme on Pharmacopoeial Parameters
DESCRIPTION:Sanskar College of Pharmacy and Research\, Ghaziabad\, participated in the Awareness Programme on Pharmacopoeial Parameters of ASU&H\, organized by the Pharmacopoeia Commission for Indian Medicine & Homoeopathy (PCIM&H) under the Regional Raw Drug Repository (RRDR) Project. This initiative aimed to promote awareness about pharmacopoeial standards and quality control of Ayurveda\, Siddha\, Unani\, and Homoeopathy (ASU&H) drugs. The event featured expert lectures on topics such as: Identification of Raw Drugs by Pharmacognostic Parameters\, Quality Control and Quality Assessment of Traditional Medicines and Microbial Analysis of ASU&H Drugs. Participants\, Dr Shabnam Ain\, Dr Anuradha Singh and Dr Qurratul Ain along with their students of B.Pharm Third year (Hiten Khattar\, Himani Bansal & Cutee) explored the Herbal Gardens\, Regional Raw Drug Repository and Seed Bank enhancing their knowledge on pharmacopoeial standards and quality control of ASU&H drugs and enriching experience. A special thanks to Honorable Management and Director Pharmacy\, Prof. (Dr.) Babita Kumar for their support to make this possible.
