DESCRIPTION:Sanskar College of Pharmacy and Research\, Ghaziabad is celebrating 64th National Pharmacy Week (NPW) from 16th to 22nd November\, 2025 to acknowledge the valuable contribution of our pharmacists in healthcare delivery of our country. This year’s theme of National Pharmacy week 2025 is: “Pharmacists as Advocates of Vaccination”. The different events like Oral Presentation\, Essay writing Competition\, Pharma Quiz and Blood donation camp were organized on this occasion. The event was inaugurated with traditional auspicious lamp lightening ceremony as a tribute to MAA Saraswati by Mrs. Manisha Gupta\, Chairperson- Sanskar Educational Group\, Director Prof. (Dr.) Babita Kumar\, HOD-Pharmacy Dr. Shabnam Ain\, Dr. Anuradha Singh\, Dr. Qurratul Ain\, Dr. Ajeet. Blood Donation Camp was organized on 21st November\, 2025 in association with Rotary Club of Ghaziabad\, Sapphire. It provides a platform for faculty members\, students and staff members to contribute to this noble cause. In this camp\, more than 150 blood units were successfully collected. Essay writing competition\, Quiz competition and Oral presentation were also organized on 18th\, 19th and 20th November during the celebration of National Pharmacy Week (NPW). The students had actively participated in the events with great zeal and enthusiasm. In Oral Competition first\, second and third Position was hold by Mehfooz (B.Pharm II yr)\, Himani Bansal (B.Pharm III yr)\, Misbah Waris Khan (B.Pharm II yr) and Granth Bansal (B.Pharm I yr). In Essay writing competition first\, second and third Position was hold by Misbah Waris Khan (B.Pharm II year)\, Manvi Jha (B.Pharm IV year) and Granth Bansal (B.Pharm Ist year) respectively. Team Cure Chasers – Cutee. B.Pharm III year\, Mohit Mittal B.Pharm IV year\, Mehfooz B.Pharm II yr\, Soumya Singh. D. Pharm I yr and Suhail. B.Pharm I yr) was the winner of Quiz Competition. And the Team Drug Detectives-Radhika Shishodia B.Pharm I yr\, Ghanshyam Sharma B.Pharm II yr\, Himani bansal. B.Pharm III yr\, Varun Kumar. B. Pharm IV year and Kajal. D. Pharm II yr was the runner. It was a moment of great pride for SEG family to interact with Mr. Hashim Mansoori\, alumni of B.Pharm (Batch: 2014-2018)\, working as Founder-Global Pharmacovigilance Academy\, Pharmaceutical Compliance and Regulatory Certification. The aim of this session is to make the students aware about the career opportunities and scope of Pharmacovigilance for Pharmacists. 110 students from B.Pharm III year and IV year were participated with a greater zeal and enthusiasm. He addressed the audience by sharing her overwhelming experience in the Institution. He inspired students by showcasing real-world applications of the skills and knowledge they are currently acquiring. This interaction provided a valuable opportunity for students to hear firsthand about the professional journeys\, challenges and achievements of Alumni encouraging them for their future. The talk was energetic\, inspiring and motivating for the students. DESCRIPTION:Sanskar College of Pharmacy and Research\, Ghaziabad\, participated in the Awareness Programme on Pharmacopoeial Parameters of ASU&H\, organized by the Pharmacopoeia Commission for Indian Medicine & Homoeopathy (PCIM&H) under the Regional Raw Drug Repository (RRDR) Project. This initiative aimed to promote awareness about pharmacopoeial standards and quality control of Ayurveda\, Siddha\, Unani\, and Homoeopathy (ASU&H) drugs. The event featured expert lectures on topics such as: Identification of Raw Drugs by Pharmacognostic Parameters\, Quality Control and Quality Assessment of Traditional Medicines and Microbial Analysis of ASU&H Drugs. Participants\, Dr Shabnam Ain\, Dr Anuradha Singh and Dr Qurratul Ain along with their students of B.Pharm Third year (Hiten Khattar\, Himani Bansal & Cutee) explored the Herbal Gardens\, Regional Raw Drug Repository and Seed Bank enhancing their knowledge on pharmacopoeial standards and quality control of ASU&H drugs and enriching experience. SUMMARY:Alumni Talk with Mr. Abhishek Sharma
DESCRIPTION:Sanskar College of Pharmacy and Research\, Ghaziabad organized Alumni Talk on 24.11.2025 for the students of B.Pharm. It was a moment of great pride for SEG family to interact with Mr. Abhishek Sharma\, alumni of B.Pharm (20011-2015) Batch\, working as Lead Assistant Manager in EXL Service Ltd.\, Noida\, India. The talk was delivered on growing scope of Pharmacy in India. He addressed the audience by sharing his overwhelming experience in the Institution. Entire session spanned for one hour in which he highlighted his experiences\, opinions and about career with the young budding pharmacists for becoming a growing professional. Many students interacted with him one-on-one after the talk was over. The talk was simple\, energetic\, inspiring and motivating for the students to pursue a more fulfilling career. The participants raised many doubts and queries which were promptly answered by Mr. Abhishek Sharma. The whole session was very well organized by Dr. Qurratul Ain (Co-ordinator-Alumni Committee)\, Dr Swati Mittal and Ms. Nidhi Jain with the great support of Director Prof. (Dr.) Babita Kumar.

The objective of the visit was to provide students with practical exposure to hospital functioning and patient-care systems.\nDuring the visit\, students observed key departments including the MICU\, Operation Theatre\, General Ward\, CT Scan Unit\, Pharmacy. SUMMARY:Medical camp at HS Public School\, Hapur
DESCRIPTION:Sanskar College of Pharmacy and Research-Sanskar Educational Group\, Ghaziabad organized a medical camp at HS Public School\, Hapur on 04.12.2025 with the aim of promoting health awareness among students and helping them understand the importance of knowing their blood group. The camp was conducted by a dedicated team of B.Pharm first year students under the guidance of Mr. Arjun Nagar (faculty member) and Mr. Bobender (staff member). During the camp\, blood group testing was carried out for students of all classes. The process was conducted systematically\, maintaining proper hygiene and safety protocols. Each student received a record of their blood group\, along with guidance on why this information is essential in emergencies\, medical treatments and blood donation. The process of determination of blood group was conducted by a simple antigen-antibody reaction. Awareness session was also conducted\, focusing on various blood-related facts. Students were informed about the different blood groups and the concept of universal donors and universal recipients. The importance of voluntary blood donation\, Rh factor compatibility\, and the need for maintaining good health to ensure healthy blood were explained in simple\, interactive ways. Special emphasis was placed on debunking common myths related to blood donation and encouraging students to spread awareness in their families and communities. The camp proved to be highly informative and beneficial. It not only equipped students with valuable health information but also fostered a sense of social responsibility. The school extended its gratitude to the SCPR team for their efforts and asked them to organize more such initiatives in the future.

SUMMARY:Industrial visit to Radicon Laboratories Pvt. Ltd.
DESCRIPTION:Sanskar College of Pharmacy and Research\, Ghaziabad organized an Industrial visit to Radicon Laboratories Pvt. Ltd.\, Noida\, on 24th March\, 2026 for B.Pharm students. The primary objective of this visit was to bridge the gap between theoretical classroom learning and practical industrial applications\, providing students with first-hand exposure to large-scale pharmaceutical manufacturing. Radicon Laboratories is a prominent pharmaceutical manufacturer and exporter specializing in a wide range of therapeutic segments. The facility is designed according to WHO-GMP guidelines\, ensuring high standards of quality and safety in the production of generic medicines\, nutraceuticals\, and herbal preparations. During the tour\, students were divided into batches and guided through various specialized departments like Production Unit\, Quality Control (QC) & Quality Assurance (QA) and Packaging Section. The tour concluded with an overview of the storehouse\, where professionals explained the controlled storage conditions required for finished pharmaceutical products. Such visits are essential for students to apply their theoretical knowledge and prepare for their future careers in pharmacy. There were 50 students with one faculty member (Ms.Bhawna Bisht)\, who became a part of the Industrial Trip. The visit was organized & very well co-ordinated by Prof. (Dr.) Qurratul Ain. We extend our gratitude to the management and staff members of Radicon Laboratories for their cooperation and for providing this valuable learning opportunity.
