SUMMARY:Industrial Visit to ”NAMASTE INDIA”\,
DESCRIPTION:SGIT School of Management organised an Industrial Visit to ”NAMASTE INDIA”\, Modinagar\, Ghaziabad. Around 40 students were accompanied by two faculty members- Mr.Aditya Sharma & Mrs. Swati Chandela. The visit began with the presentation. The HR Manager gave a knowledgeable presentation about how Namaste India was established as a Cooperative unit collecting milk from farmers in rural areas and marketing in urban areas. Students actively walked through the plant with Mr. V.P Singh (Assistant general manager) who explained the whole process of manufacturing and packaging of milk and other milk products. Students were taken through the production facilities including the procurement\, inventory management\, quality check of milk samples in the quality control department\, pasteurization process and the packaging and storage until the product was sent out of delivery. The silent feature of the plant was the wastewater management initiative in which water used in the production process is filtered and let out in open areas for Plants. \n\n\nMr. Manoj Kumar Singh (HOD) organised and conducted the visit in a very smooth manner and the visit was a great experience for the students

SUMMARY:Three weeks Induction Programme
DESCRIPTION:Sanskar College of Pharmacy and Research conducted three weeks Induction Programme for the batch of first year B.Pharm 2022-2023. The purpose of Student Induction Programme is to help new students adjust and feel comfortable in the new environment\, inculcate in them the ethos and culture of the institution\, help them build bonds with other students and faculty members. The Induction Programme began with registration followed by orientation programme. The students with their great enthusiasm reported and registered themselves at the college. The Program was inaugurated by Dr Babita Kumar (Director-Pharmacy)\, Dr Dharmendra Singh (Director-Engineering) and all faculty members with the lamp lightening ceremony as a tribute to Maa Saraswati\, the Goddess of knowledge to give us the wisdom to make this world a better place. Prof. (Dr.) Babita Kumar\, Director\, SCPR welcomed the students to SEG Fraternity and wished them every success in their future endeavors. Prof. (Dr.) Shabnam Ain (HOD) discussed the University (AKTU) Ordinance to make the new students aware about the curriculum\, rules and regulation of the college and teaching methodologies. Different activities including expert lectures on Universal Human Values\, Proficiency Modules\, Guest lectures by Eminent Personalities\, Motivational Talks\, Alumni Talks\, Industrial Visit were conducted during this programme. Campus visit including lab visit was conducted to familiarize the fresher students to the Institute campus and physical activities including games were also conducted to make them aware about different extracurricular activities in the campus. The programme was very well co-ordinated by Dr Qurratul Ain (Programme coordinator)\, Dr.Ajeet & Mrs. Ruchika Srivastava (Class coordinators).

DESCRIPTION:D.Pharm I year students from Sanskar College of Pharmacy and Research\, Ghaziabad visited Awaasiya Vridhashram (Old Age Home) \, Hapur on 14th December 2022.The purpose of this visit was to make the students realise their social responsibilities towards Senior Citizens. Such visits also activate the student’s thought process to realise the agony and pain which the people go through in their old age while living away from their dear ones. The visit intended to teach them how to interact with the elderly who may have poor hearing and understanding alongwith other health problems as a result of old age.\nOur students with high enthusiasm and conviction to contribute their best during their visit. The students interacted with the residents in the Old Age Home and lovingly served them fresh fruits\, medicines and juices.\nThus\, the visit to the Old Age Home concluded with loads of warmth and showers of blessings extended from the elderly towards our team of students and Faculty Members. They bid us good bye with tearful eyes but with a promise to revisit them frequently.\nThe visit was well organised by Dr. Anuradha Singh\, Mr. Ankur Gupta and Mr. Himanshu Singh.

The purpose of an Industrial visit is to provide students with insight into how companies work inside. Morepen is a well-known Pharma company having well equipped Research & Development Centre. It is a global leader in Bulk Drug APIs production with USFDA approved facilities. Morepen Engaged in manufacturing high tech bulk drugs for international markets since 1984. Students got exposure on various Pharmaceutical Industrial process involved in manufacturing of tablets\, capsules\, powders\, liquids\, gels & ointments. The students visited the different sections such as production\, quality assurance and quality control. The students also enjoyed a lot while visiting various places such as Pinjore garden\, clock tower\, church\, kufri\, Jhanku Temple and Mall road Shimla during their fun trip. Mr. Ankur Gupta\, Mr. Dheeraj and Ms.Nutan guided the students during the trip. It was really a learning and exciting experience for the students.

He shared about various terminologies and basic concepts of chemotherapy and chemotherapeutic drug. He elaborated more on cytotoxic chemotherapy which refers to agents whose mechanisms of action cause cell death or prevents cell growth\, generally through inhibiting microtubule function\, protein function\, or DNA synthesis. Goals of chemotherapy for cancer are to cure\, control or relieve suffering has been discussed in detail. The lecture was very well received by the B.Pharm students. The information and practical insight in his deliberation will be useful for the students throughout their career.

In which different professional activities viz. poster presentation\, oral presentation\, extempore and debate competition has been performed by B.Pharm students. More than 50 students were participated enthusiastically in various activities. In poster competition first and second Position was hold by Abhishek Tyagi- B.Pharm IV year and Lakshay Kumar B.Pharm III Year. In debate competition\, Akash-B.Pharm III year was winner in affirmative side while Purushottam Tomer-B.Pharm III year was winner of negative side of the topic. Akash-B.Pharm III year and Himani Singhal-B.Pharm III year got the first and Second prize in oral competition. Again Himani Singhal-B.Pharm III and Akash-B.Pharm III year got the first and Second prize in extempore competition respectively. The event was successfully coordinated by faculty members Mrs. Reenu Chauhan\, Mrs Nidhi Jain\, Mrs. Nutan\, Mrs. Monika Dhaka and Mr. Ankur Gupta. Winners of different activities were awarded by Director\, Prof. (Dr.) Babita Kumar\, HOD\, Prof. (Dr.) Shabnam Ain\, overall co-ordinator Dr. Qurratul Ain and all event co-ordinators. The information and practical insight in her deliberation will be useful throughout the life.

DRF offer preclinical services in Drug Discovery and Development\, ranging from identification of potential lead molecules\, drug development to IND enabling studies to global Biotech\, Pharma\, Phytopharmaceuticals Cosmeceuticals and academia sectors. Students were exposed to various functional areas of Pharmacology\, Toxicology & Analytical laboratories and state of the art Animal Facility.\nIt was very informative and learning experience for students and faculty member. This visit provided an excellent opportunity to get familiar with Pharmaceutical Industry environment.

She informed that Indian Pharma Industry has registered a spectacular progress today ranks 3rd in volume of production of drugs and 14th in value in the global pharmaceutical market. Pharmacy degree holders are associated with the discovery\, development\, production and sales of medicines by joining in various Pharmaceutical Industries. She discussed about many job opportunities available in pharmaceutical industry for a Pharmacy professional like Research and development (R&D)\, Manufacturing of drugs\, Quality Control\, Quality Assurance\, Pharmaceutical Marketing\, Hospital Pharmacy\, Clinical Pharmacy\, Community Pharmacy and teaching. She discussed that Pharmaceutical business cannot be successful without marketing and sales of medicines. She emphasized on Pharmaceutical Sales and Marketing and how anyone can progress their career in Pharmaceutical Sales. The lecture was very well received by the students. The information and practical insight in her deliberation will be useful for the students throughout their career.

It was a moment of great pride for SEG family to interact with Mr. Abhishek Sharma\, alumni of B.Pharm (2011-2015) Batch\, working as an Assistant Manager in EXL Service Ltd.\, Noida\, India. The talk was delivered on growing scope of Pharmacy in India. He addressed the audience by sharing his overwhelming experience in the Institution. Entire session spanned for 1 hour in which he highlighted his experiences\, opinions and about career with the young budding pharmacists for becoming a growing professional. Many students interacted with him one-on-one after the talk was over. The talk was simple\, energetic\, inspiring and motivating for the students to pursue a more fulfilling career. The participants raised many doubts and queries which were promptly answered by Mr. Abhishek Sharma. The whole session was very well organized by Dr. Qurratul Ain (Co-ordinator-Alumni Committee) with the great support of Director Prof. (Dr.) Babita Kumar.

DESCRIPTION:Renowned spiritual master Sadguru Sakshi Shree delivered an inspirational session at Sanskar Educational Group on 28th April\, 2023 under the Young Mind Movement which has been started by Science Divine Foundation. The event started with traditional auspicious lamp-lightening ceremony. During the session\, Sadguru Sakshi Shree shared his insight and wisdom on a variety of topics including meditation\, self discovery and power of positive thinking. He also led participants through various meditation techniques to help them connect with their inner selves and discover their true potential. This session also help the participants to find the meaning\, purpose and fulfillment of their life. This session was well appreciated by the students who also put their questions\, for which Sadguru Sakshi Shree provided contemporary answers in light of the ancient Indian Wisdom. This session got overwhelming response from students and faculty members of Engineering\, Pharmacy\, Architecture and Management Departments. The session was ended with felicitation of Sadguru Sakshi Shree by the Shri Manoj Kumar Gupta\, Chairman-Sanskar Educational Group\, Dr. Babita Kumar\, Director-Pharmacy and Dr. Dharmendra Kumar\, Director- Engineering. Sadguru Sakshi Shree also felicitated Chairman-Sanskar Educational Group with a memento. He also thanked him for successfully organizing this event.
