Students were exposed to various departments like raw material house\, sampling room\, multi column distillation plant\, manufacturing unit of Small Volume Parentral (SVP)\, Large Volume Parentral (LVP) & capsules\, sophisticated instrumentation facility\, Quality Assurance and Quality Control\, packaging of parentrals. It was very informative and learning experience for students and faculty member. This visit provided an excellent opportunity to get familiar with Pharmaceutical Industry environment.

DESCRIPTION:Eminent speaker\, Dr. Shibli Jameel Ahmad\, Professor in the Department of Pharmacology\, Faculty of Pharmacy\, Jamia Hamdard- New Delhi\, delivered a guest lecture on General Principles of Chemotherapy on 20th February 2023 at Sanskar College of Pharmacy and Research\, Ghaziabad. He shared about various terminologies and basic concepts of chemotherapy and chemotherapeutic drug. He elaborated more on cytotoxic chemotherapy which refers to agents whose mechanisms of action cause cell death or prevents cell growth\, generally through inhibiting microtubule function\, protein function\, or DNA synthesis. Goals of chemotherapy for cancer are to cure\, control or relieve suffering has been discussed in detail. The lecture was very well received by the B.Pharm students. The information and practical insight in his deliberation will be useful for the students throughout their career.

SUMMARY:National Organ Donor day program
DESCRIPTION:Sanskar College of Pharmacy and Research\, Ghaziabad organised the National Organ Donor day program for D.Pharm I year students on 14th February\, 2023. The purpose of this program was to make the students aware of Organ donation\, importance of organ donation and role of pharmacist and social responsibilities towards the needs of donation of different organs. The program was intended to make them aware of how to donate the organ and how many types of organ can be donated by healthy people. A Debate competition was also organised for the students.\nThe event was well coordinated by Ms. Nutan Singh\, Mr. Himanshu Singh and Ms. Anshika Garg under the guidance of HOD- D.Pharm\, Prof. (Dr.) Anuradha Singh.

DESCRIPTION:National Pharmacy Education Day Celebration at Sanskar College of Pharmacy and Research\, Ghaziabad:\nSanskar College of Pharmacy and Research celebrated National Pharmacy Education Day to commemorate 121st birth anniversary of Prof. M.L. Schroff : Father of the Indian Pharmaceutical Education. In which different professional activities viz. poster presentation\, oral presentation\, extempore and debate competition has been performed by B.Pharm students. More than 50 students were participated enthusiastically in various activities. In poster competition first and second Position was hold by Abhishek Tyagi- B.Pharm IV year and Lakshay Kumar B.Pharm III Year. In debate competition\, Akash-B.Pharm III year was winner in affirmative side while Purushottam Tomer-B.Pharm III year was winner of negative side of the topic. Akash-B.Pharm III year and Himani Singhal-B.Pharm III year got the first and Second prize in oral competition. Again Himani Singhal-B.Pharm III and Akash-B.Pharm III year got the first and Second prize in extempore competition respectively. The event was successfully coordinated by faculty members Mrs. Reenu Chauhan\, Mrs Nidhi Jain\, Mrs. Nutan\, Mrs. Monika Dhaka and Mr. Ankur Gupta. Winners of different activities were awarded by Director\, Prof. (Dr.) Babita Kumar\, HOD\, Prof. (Dr.) Shabnam Ain\, overall co-ordinator Dr. Qurratul Ain and all event co-ordinators. They appreciated them for their exuberant participation.

DRF offer preclinical services in Drug Discovery and Development\, ranging from identification of potential lead molecules\, drug development to IND enabling studies to global Biotech\, Pharma\, Phytopharmaceuticals Cosmeceuticals and academia sectors. Students were exposed to various functional areas of Pharmacology\, Toxicology & Analytical laboratories and state of the art Animal Facility.\nIt was very informative and learning experience for students and faculty member. This visit provided an excellent opportunity to get familiar with Pharmaceutical Industry environment.

She discussed about many job opportunities available in pharmaceutical industry for a Pharmacy professional like Research and development (R&D)\, Manufacturing of drugs\, Quality Control\, Quality Assurance\, Pharmaceutical Marketing\, Hospital Pharmacy\, Clinical Pharmacy\, Community Pharmacy and teaching. She discussed that Pharmaceutical business cannot be successful without marketing and sales of medicines. The talk was delivered on growing scope of Pharmacy in India. He addressed the audience by sharing his overwhelming experience in the Institution. Entire session spanned for 1 hour in which he highlighted his experiences\, opinions and about career with the young budding pharmacists for becoming a growing professional. Many students interacted with him one-on-one after the talk was over. The talk was simple\, energetic\, inspiring and motivating for the students to pursue a more fulfilling career. The participants raised many doubts and queries which were promptly answered by Mr. Abhishek Sharma. The whole session was very well organized by Dr. Qurratul Ain (Co-ordinator-Alumni Committee) with the great support of Director Prof. (Dr.) Babita Kumar.

DESCRIPTION:Renowned spiritual master Sadguru Sakshi Shree delivered an inspirational session at Sanskar Educational Group on 28th April\, 2023 under the Young Mind Movement which has been started by Science Divine Foundation. The event started with traditional auspicious lamp-lightening ceremony. During the session\, Sadguru Sakshi Shree shared his insight and wisdom on a variety of topics including meditation\, self discovery and power of positive thinking. He also led participants through various meditation techniques to help them connect with their inner selves and discover their true potential. This session also help the participants to find the meaning\, purpose and fulfillment of their life. This session was well appreciated by the students who also put their questions\, for which Sadguru Sakshi Shree provided contemporary answers in light of the ancient Indian Wisdom. This session got overwhelming response from students and faculty members of Engineering\, Pharmacy\, Architecture and Management Departments. The session was ended with felicitation of Sadguru Sakshi Shree by the Shri Manoj Kumar Gupta\, Chairman-Sanskar Educational Group\, Dr. Babita Kumar\, Director-Pharmacy and Dr. Dharmendra Kumar\, Director- Engineering. Sadguru Sakshi Shree also felicitated Chairman-Sanskar Educational Group with a memento. He also thanked him for successfully organizing this event.

During this visit\, students were very eagerly waiting to listen to the hospital’s higher authorities.\n\n\nThe HR. personnel and HODs of different departments drove the students to visit different departments like pharmacy\, Operation theatre\, Store department\, Baby care area\, Kidney transplant area\, PAD area\, etc. In all departments\, departmental HODs have given them information regarding their respective department and how to connect this whole department work with pharmacy.

SUMMARY:Mission Shakti Programme
DESCRIPTION:Sanskar Educational Group organised Mission Shakti Programme in association with Police Department\, Hapur on 14th June\, 2023 to sensitise the girls and female faculty members about their safety. ‘Mission Shakti’ is a Government scheme in mission mode aimed at strengthening interventions for women safety\, security and empowerment by addressing issues affecting women and by making them equal partners in nation-building through convergence and citizen-ownership. It aims to ensure safety\, dignity and self reliance for women from all sections of society. Chief guest\, IPS officer\, Shri Abhishek Verma\, SP-Hapur shared his views about various aspects to ensure the safety of girls and women. He also explained the objective to empower the girls to protect themselves against real – life scenarios such as sexual assaults\, kidnapping\, bullying and domestic violence etc. Esteemed guests\, Ms. Manu Chaudhary\, SHO\, Mahila Thaana\, Ms. Stuti Singh\, CO-Hapur and Mr. Varun Mishra\, CO-Pilkhuwa also explained the various schemes under ‘Mission Shakti’ and shared their experiences to create the awareness among girl students and female faculty members to protect themselves by using different helpline numbers. The entire programme was very informative and attended by around 150 girls. Shri. Vinod Pandey\, SHO\, Pilkhuwa\, Director Pharmacy- Prof. (Dr.) Babita Kumar\, Director Engineering- Prof. (Dr.) Dharmendra Singh\, Administrative Officer-Mr. Ashish Mittal and all female faculty members and students were present in this programme
