DESCRIPTION:Sanskar College of Pharmacy and Research\, Ghaziabad organized an Industrial visit to Ptanjali\nYogpeeth\, Haridwar on 5 th April\, 2024 for B.Pharm IV year students. Patanjali Yogpeeth is a\nNaturopathy Centre\, aimed at providing psychological and spiritual heath to people suffering\nfrom various incurable diseases through integrated therapy of Ayurveda. The Purpose of the trip\nwas the Exploration and Identification of Medicinal Plants as a Part of B.Pharm Curriculum.\nHerbal Garden Visit was very insightful to know that the 900 species of Medicinal Plants are\nbeing used in the treatment of various ailments without any side effects. The beauty of Ayurveda\ncould clearly be seen and felt. There were 43 Students and 2 Faculty Members (Mr. Sazid Khan\nand Mr.Ankur Yadav) who became a part of the Industrial Trip. The visit was very well co-\nordinated by Dr. Qurratul Ain. Such Industrial Visits are very important for the intellectual\ngrowth of students. Practical experiences prepare and nurture the knowledge of students.

Many activities are being conducted by the cell to make aware the students about the importance of Indian Pharmacopoeia in ensuring safety and efficacy of drugs for patients.\nToday\, workshop was started with lightening of lamp by the Chief Guest\, Dr. Jai Prakash\, Senior Principal Scientific officer\, Officer Incharge – Pharmacovigilance Programme of India and Guest of Honour\, Dr. Anil Kumar Teotia\, Senior Principal Scientific officer from Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission\, Director\, Prof. Dr. Babita Kumar\, HODs\, Dr. Shabnam Ain and Dr. Anuradha Singh.\nDuring the workshop\, Prof. Dr. Babita Kumar welcomed all the dignitaries in the workshop and conveyed her good wishes for the success of the two days workshop.\nChief Guest\, Dr. Jai Prakash\, Senior Principal Scientific officer\, Officer Incharge – Pharmacovigilance Programme of India\, Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission who is dynamic researcher and advisor in the field of Pharmacopoeia\, Pharmacovigilance and Formulary sciences emphasized on the basic terminology and concepts of Pharmacovigilance. He also delivered about the current status of the Pharmacovigilance program of India\, thus enriching the knowledge of students. Pharmacovigilance is one of the growing fields which the students can opt for after completing their Master programme in Pharmacy. Pharmacovigilance involves monitoring\, assessing and preventing the adverse effects of pharmaceutical products.\nDr. Anil Kumar Teotia described the Good Laboratory Practices and development of monographs in Indian Pharmacopoeia. He shared that Good Laboratory Practices include a set of principles that provides a framework within which non-clinical laboratory studies are planned\, performed\, monitored\, reported and archived. GLP is a Quality System which are applied to all laboratory processes to ensure quality\, integrity and reliability of safety data and achieve high quality in drug product\nThe students of B.Pharm third year and final year participated in the workshop with zeal and enthusiasm. Chairman-SEG\, Shri Manoj Kumar Gupta\, Mr. Lav Aggarwal and Mr. Kush Aggarwal conveyed their good wishes to all the faculty members and students for the success of the workshop. DESCRIPTION:Sanskar College of Pharmacy & Research organized two days Workshop on Medical Coding on 6th and 7th March 2024 in association with Genus Healthcare Solution and IT Consulting Pvt. Ltd.\nMedical coding is one of the career options which B.Pharm students can opt after being certified medical coder. In this medical coder transform healthcare diagnosis\, procedures\, medical services\, and equipment on medical records of patients into universal medical alphanumeric codes. During the workshop\, students were able to learn medical terminologies used for Medical Coding as well as new software developments and business management tools.\nDuring the workshop\, Mr. Vikas Maheshwari\, Managing Director- Genus Healthcare explained the importance of Medical Coding in Healthcare System and elaborated it in detail with case studies.\nMr. Hans Raj\, Genus Healthcare told that medical coding is implemented in US to strengthen Healthcare system. He also discussed about CPC and CCS examination for US Healthcare Medical Coder.\nMr. Shobhit Malik\, Genus Healthcare trained the students on evaluation and management coding (E & M Coding) which is a medical coding process in support of medical billing. Furthermore\, he explained the students about International Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems (ICD)\, ICD10 Codes\, Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) codes\, Trouble Shooting in ICD Code Search. He guided the students about how to give codes through examples of case studies and how CPT codes are used to track and bill medical\, surgical\, and diagnostic services. He also demonstrated how coding is done on industrial level.\nAll B.Pharm III year and IV year participated in this workshop with a greater zeal and enthusiasm and got an opportunity to learn various terminologies used in Medical Coding. After completion of workshop\, the students were evaluated and certificates were distributed to all the participants during the valedictory function. DESCRIPTION:Sanskar College of Pharmacy & Research celebrated National Pharmacy Education day as Pharma Anveshan 2024 on 6th March 2024 on the theme ‘Leveraging Synergism: Industry – academia partnership for implementation of National Education Policy’.\nThis day is being celebrated all over the India to commemorate the birth anniversary of Professor Mahadeva Lal Schroff who is known as Father of Pharmacy Education in India\, to recognize his great contribution in establishing pharmacy education in India. He initiated pharmaceutical education at the university level in the Banaras Hindu University with three year degree course of Bachelor of Pharmacy in July 1937.\nThe event started with traditional auspicious lamp-lightening ceremony as a tribute to Maa Saraswati. On this occasion\, Two days workshop on Medical Coding was organized in association with Genus Healthcare Solution and IT Consulting Pvt. Ltd with an aim to impart technical and practical knowledge to the students. In addition\, Oral Presentation on topic “Industry-Academia collaboration for implementation of National Education Policy” and Extempore competitions were also conducted to bring out innate talents of the students. In Oral presentation competition\, first and second position was hold by Alisha Ashraf (B.Pharm Ist year)\, Insha Saifi (D.Pharm IInd year) and Tushar Tomar (B.Pharm IIIrd year)\, Muskan Saini (D.Pharm Ist year). Purshottam Tomar (B.Pharm IVth year) was the winner and Akash (B.Pharm IVth year)\, Kirti Singh Tomar (B.Pharm IVth year) were the runner of Extempore competition. All the winners in different events were appreciated and given certificates and prizes. Some of the meritorious students were appreciated for their hard work and sincerity in preparation of best tutorial notebooks.\nAll students of D.Pharm\, B.Pharm and M.Pharm courses participated with a greater zeal and enthusiasm in the celebration of National Pharmacy Education day to make it a grand success.\nChairman\, Shri Manoj Kumar Gupta\, Mr. Lav Aggarwal\, Mr. Kush Aggarwal\, Director\, Prof. Dr. Babita Kumar\, HOD\, Dr. Shabnam Ain and Dr. Anuradha Singh congratulated all winner students and conveyed good wishes to all buddy pharmacists for their bright future. He secured 2nd position in college & secured 8th University rank in Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University\, Lucknow with 9.11 CGPA. Ranked AIR 378 in GPAT and AIR 472 in NIPER JEE and also qualified for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) and IIT BHU. He highlighted on the opportunities of Higher education from renowned organization. The talk was delivered on Research Opportunities in the field of Pharmacy. He addressed the audience by sharing his overwhelming experience in the Institution. Entire session spanned for 1 hour in which he highlighted his master education experiences\, opinions and about career with the young budding pharmacists for becoming a growing professional. Many students interacted with him one-on-one after the talk was over. The talk was simple\, energetic\, inspiring and motivating for the students to pursue a more fulfilling career. The participants raised many doubts and queries which were promptly answered by Mr. Rohit. The whole session was very well organized by Dr. Qurratul Ain (Co-ordinator-Alumni Committee) with the great support of Director\, Prof. (Dr.) Babita Kumar.

This year students from B.Tech first year of Sanskar College of Engineering and Technology\, Gzb\, organized quiz competition to commemorate the occasion. The fun filled celebration of Math quiz brought forth a very large participation of students. To extend the celebration Ambrish Yadav of B.Tech First year\, recites the poem to pay tribute to the great mathematician. The event was well coordinated by Mr. Tribhuvan Sharma and Ms. Rupal Sharma and supported by Dr. Jaykesh Giri and Ms. Priya Sharma under the guidance of Dr. Amarpal Singh (HOD – ASH) and our esteemed Director\, Prof. Dr. Dharmendra Singh. DESCRIPTION:SADGURU SAKSHI SHREE AT SANSKAR EDUCATIONAL GROUP FOR YOUNG MIND MOVEMENT SEMINAR\n\n\nSanskar Educational Group organized an inspirational and motivational seminar under the Young Mind Movement for students and faculty members by renowned spiritual master Sadguru Sakshi Shree in the memory of Late Shri Sunder Lal Gupta who was father of Chairman Shri Manoj Kumar Gupta on his birth anniversary on 14th December\, 2023. Sadhguru Sakshi Shree is an enlightened master who has founded Science Divine to spread the message of love and meditation all over the world for creating a new humanity that would live a life filled with everlasting happiness while simultaneously enjoying the fruits of material riches and prosperity.\nThe event started with traditional auspicious lamp-lightening ceremony. During the session\, Sadhguru Sakshi Shree blessed students with his motivational and spiritual thoughts and help them to rediscover a new meaning of joyful living by undergoing inner transformation. Guruji shared his insight and wisdom on meditation\, self discovery and power of positive thinking. He enlightened the students about three dimensions\, Controlling your thoughts\, emotional balance and meditation for achieving happy and joyful life. He advised the audience about meditation techniques to help them connect with their inner soul and discover their true potential. Guru ji also inspired students to do all the work with full dedication and advised the easy way to cope up with stressful conditions.\n\n\nThis seminar helped the students to find the meaning\, purpose and fulfillment of their life. Guruji answered all the questions from the students. The session was ended with felicitation of Sadguru Sakshi Shree by Shri Manoj Kumar Gupta\, Chairman-Sanskar Educational Group\, Ms. Manisha Gupta and Dr. Babita Kumar. This session was well received and got overwhelming response from more than 500 students\, HODs and faculty members from Engineering\, Pharmacy\, Management and Architecture departments.

DESCRIPTION:Sanskar College of Pharmacy & Research organized a guest lecture on Pharmacology of cardiovascular system and Applied physiology of Autonomic Nervous System by eminent speaker\, Dr. Shibli Jameel Ahmad\, Department of Pharmacology\, School of Pharmaceutical Education & Research\, Jamia Hamdard\, New Delhi for the students of B.Pharm. III year and final year on 12th December\, 2023. Dr. Shibli emphasized on the cardiovascular system of the body and elaborated on the disorders related to the system. He was explained about Blood pressure (BP) and tissue perfusion. At least 90 mmHg BP is essential for tissue perfusion and principally affected by volume of blood\, peripheral resistance and cardiac output. He also discussed the mode of action of all the drugs used in their treatment including Antihypertensive drugs\, Antianginal and Antiarrhythmic drugs. The lecture was very well received by the students. The information and practical insight in his deliberation will come handy and useful for the students throughout their career.

II year students visited the plant to gain practical knowledge about production process\, inventory management\, quality control\, supply chain management and organizational culture.\nYakult\, a probiotic drink was launched in India in 2007 by Yakult Danone India (P) Ltd. As a pioneer in probiotics. Yakult Danone India is working actively to build awareness about probiotics and contribute to a healthier society. It is designed as per international standards to maintain the highest level of hygiene standards and deliver the best quality product to its consumers. The process of making Yakult is completely automated and there is no human touch at any point of time. Yakult has formidable research capabilities and product technologies in the field of probiotics. The trip was very well coordinated by Ms. Bhawna Bisht with a great support and guidance by Director- Prof. (Dr.) Babita Kumar\, HOD- Dr. Shabnam Ain\, Dr. Anuradha Singh and Dr. Qurratul Ain. It was really a learning and exciting experience for the students.

This year’s theme\, “Let communities lead for 2023\,” as designated by the World Health Organization\, emphasizes the imperative for communities to assume leadership roles in combating AIDS.\nThe students comprehended the essence of the theme and comprehensively explored the roles and responsibilities of pharmacists. Through their presentations\, they elucidated on AIDS\, delving into its causes\, symptoms\, diagnosis\, available treatments\, as well as preventive and control measures.\nThis program was meticulously organized under the coordination of Mrs. Nutan Singh\, supported by Ms. Manisha and Ms. Pooja Malkani. Their efforts were guided by the HOD\, Dr. Anuradha Singh\, and our esteemed Director\, Dr. Babita Kumar.

DESCRIPTION:SGIT\, School of Management organised a Guest Lecture on 01/12/2023 for the students. Mr. Munish Goel (Trainer\, Motivational Speaker and M.G Financial Service ) was the speaker of the Session.He started with the importance of insurance\, why it matters in everyday life\, and its significance in managing risk.After that he laid emphasis on detail various types of insurance available\, their purposes\, and why individuals might need them\, how to file a claim\, what information is needed\, and the steps involved in processing a claim. He shared his life experiences and touched many important aspects of life in a very simple but beautiful manner. The Session was interactive and students gained a lot of knowledge.The important tool at SGIT SOM Mr.Aditya Verma (H.O.D) graced the session with their valuable words.

The Activity was organised to speaking or performing without preparation or a pre-written script. It involves spontaneously delivering a speech\, addressing a topic\, or performing an activity relying on one’s immediate thoughts\, knowledge\, or creativity at the moment or without prior planning. It’s a skill that involves quick thinking and the ability to articulate ideas effectively on the spot.Total 7 teams were participated. Winning Team was Team 3 their topic was Women Empowerment.\nAll Management faculties were present and students enhance their knowledge and skills with the help of Extempore.

SUMMARY:2nd days workshop on Pharmaceutical Marketing and sales
DESCRIPTION:Sanskar College of Pharmacy and Research\, Ghaziabad organized two days workshop on Pharmaceutical Marketing and sales in association with KV PharmaVISION from 23rd -24th November\, 2023 during the celebration of National Pharmacy Week. The aim of this workshop was to make the students aware about the career opportunities and scope of pharmacy in Pharmaceutical Marketing and sales.\nOn second day of workshop\, Ms. Kulvinder Saluja covered some more topics including Pharma product promotion essentials and sales strategies. Then all participating students were evaluated by questionnaire. Certificates of Participation were distributed to all the students for their active participation. Director Prof. (Dr.) Babita Kumar motivated the students to use information and knowledge gained in this workshop throughout their career.\nMore than 200 students from B.Pharm third year and final year\, HOD-Pharmacy\, Dr. Shabnam Ain\, Dr. Anuradha Singh\, Dr. Qurratul Ain\, Dr. Ajeet\, faculty co-ordinators Ms. Monika Dhaka & Ms. Akshoo Rathi\, Ms. Nutan\, Ms Deepti Aggarwal\, Ms. Reenu Chauhan and all other faculty members actively participated in this workshop with a greater zeal and enthusiasm. The session was very interactive and the lecture was very well received by the participants. Some of the students who actively participated and answered the questions were given prizes also. On this occasion\, Chairman- SEG\, Shri Manoj Kumar Gupta ji motivated the faculty members to conduct this type of workshop from time to time to improve the technical skills of students and conveyed good wishes to all buddy pharmacists for their bright future.
