SUMMARY:National Mathematics Day
DESCRIPTION:22nd December every year is observed as National Mathematics Day across the Nation with the aim to make people aware of the importance of mathematics and advancements and developments made in the field. This year students from B.Tech first year of Sanskar College of Engineering and Technology\, Gzb\, organized quiz competition to commemorate the occasion. The fun filled celebration of Math quiz brought forth a very large participation of students. To extend the celebration Ambrish Yadav of B.Tech First year\, recites the poem to pay tribute to the great mathematician. The event was well coordinated by Mr. Tribhuvan Sharma and Ms. Rupal Sharma and supported by Dr. Jaykesh Giri and Ms. Priya Sharma under the guidance of Dr. Amarpal Singh (HOD – ASH) and our esteemed Director\, Prof. Dr. Dharmendra Singh. It was a joyful day of learning for the students who exhibited unparalleled excitement in the activities as they were informative\, engaging and entertaining.

SAMMUNATI was a 7 day workshop as Indian Art\, Architecture & Design BIENNALE 2023 Organized by Minisrty of culture (GOI) and COA.\n\n\nIn this workshop different national architecture colleges has participated and displayed their student’s work. On 15th December the theme was SAMATVA- Shaping the built. Where students has observed\, discussed and also participated in on the spot events.\n\n\nThe workshop was attended under the supervision of Dr. Rakesh Alhawadi\, Ar. Kumar Abhishek and Ar. Jitendra sharma along with the remaining faculties of the department.\n\n\nOverall it was very informative\, fun and interactive workshop as students got the great exposure of other students competitive work.

SUMMARY:Young Mind Movement Seminar
DESCRIPTION:SADGURU SAKSHI SHREE AT SANSKAR EDUCATIONAL GROUP FOR YOUNG MIND MOVEMENT SEMINAR\n\n\nSanskar Educational Group organized an inspirational and motivational seminar under the Young Mind Movement for students and faculty members by renowned spiritual master Sadguru Sakshi Shree in the memory of Late Shri Sunder Lal Gupta who was father of Chairman Shri Manoj Kumar Gupta on his birth anniversary on 14th December\, 2023. Sadhguru Sakshi Shree is an enlightened master who has founded Science Divine to spread the message of love and meditation all over the world for creating a new humanity that would live a life filled with everlasting happiness while simultaneously enjoying the fruits of material riches and prosperity.\nThe event started with traditional auspicious lamp-lightening ceremony. During the session\, Sadhguru Sakshi Shree blessed students with his motivational and spiritual thoughts and help them to rediscover a new meaning of joyful living by undergoing inner transformation. Guruji shared his insight and wisdom on meditation\, self discovery and power of positive thinking. He enlightened the students about three dimensions\, Controlling your thoughts\, emotional balance and meditation for achieving happy and joyful life. He advised the audience about meditation techniques to help them connect with their inner soul and discover their true potential. Guru ji also inspired students to do all the work with full dedication and advised the easy way to cope up with stressful conditions.\n\n\nThis seminar helped the students to find the meaning\, purpose and fulfillment of their life. Guruji answered all the questions from the students. The session was ended with felicitation of Sadguru Sakshi Shree by Shri Manoj Kumar Gupta\, Chairman-Sanskar Educational Group\, Ms. Manisha Gupta and Dr. Babita Kumar. This session was well received and got overwhelming response from more than 500 students\, HODs and faculty members from Engineering\, Pharmacy\, Management and Architecture departments.

DESCRIPTION:Sanskar College of Pharmacy & Research organized a guest lecture on Pharmacology of cardiovascular system and Applied physiology of Autonomic Nervous System by eminent speaker\, Dr. Shibli Jameel Ahmad\, Department of Pharmacology\, School of Pharmaceutical Education & Research\, Jamia Hamdard\, New Delhi for the students of B.Pharm. III year and final year on 12th December\, 2023. Dr. Shibli emphasized on the cardiovascular system of the body and elaborated on the disorders related to the system. He was explained about Blood pressure (BP) and tissue perfusion. At least 90 mmHg BP is essential for tissue perfusion and principally affected by volume of blood\, peripheral resistance and cardiac output. He also discussed the mode of action of all the drugs used in their treatment including Antihypertensive drugs\, Antianginal and Antiarrhythmic drugs. The lecture was very well received by the students. The information and practical insight in his deliberation will come handy and useful for the students throughout their career.

The HR. personnel and HODs of different departments drove the students to visit different departments like Pharmacy\, Operation theatre\, Store department\, Baby care area\, Psychotics department\, PAD area\, ENT department\, Ortho department\, Male medicine department etc. In all departments\, departmental HODs described the application and functioning of that department and how to connect this whole department work with pharmacy. The Visit was well coordinated by Ms Manisha Kumari.

DESCRIPTION:Sanskar College of Pharmacy & Research organized an Industrial visit to Yakult Danone India Private Limited at Rai industrial area Sonepat\, Haryana. On 07 December 2023\, B.Pharm. II year students visited the plant to gain practical knowledge about production process\, inventory management\, quality control\, supply chain management and organizational culture.\nYakult\, a probiotic drink was launched in India in 2007 by Yakult Danone India (P) Ltd. As a pioneer in probiotics. Yakult Danone India is working actively to build awareness about probiotics and contribute to a healthier society. It is designed as per international standards to maintain the highest level of hygiene standards and deliver the best quality product to its consumers. The process of making Yakult is completely automated and there is no human touch at any point of time. Yakult has formidable research capabilities and product technologies in the field of probiotics. The trip was very well coordinated by Ms. Bhawna Bisht with a great support and guidance by Director- Prof. (Dr.) Babita Kumar\, HOD- Dr. Shabnam Ain\, Dr. Anuradha Singh and Dr. Qurratul Ain. It was really a learning and exciting experience for the students.

DESCRIPTION:Sanskar College of Pharmacy and Research\, Ghaziabad organized Alumni Talk on 04.12.2023\nfor the students of D. Pharm & B.Pharm. It was a moment of great pride for SEG family to\ninteract with Ms. Shambhavi Chaturvedi alumnus of B.Pharm (2017-2021)\, pursuing PhD from\nthe National Institute of Genetics\, SOKENDAI University Japan. She’s exploring how neurons\ndetect visual motion and trying to explore the crucial role of genetics in this regard. The talk was\ndelivered on Research Opportunities in Abroad after B.Pharm. She addressed the audience by\nsharing her overwhelming experience in the Institution. Entire session spanned for 1 hour in\nwhich she highlighted her research experiences\, opinions and about career with the young\nbudding pharmacists for becoming a growing professional. She also shared about her current\nresearch and the purpose of study which will be used to help the patients suffering from\nneuro-ophthalmic diseases via prospective gene therapy approaches. Her work would also\nenhance current understanding about neuron activity and functions. Many students interacted\nwith her one-on-one after the talk was over. The talk was simple\, energetic\, inspiring and\nmotivating for the students to pursue a more fulfilling career. The participants raised many\ndoubts and queries which were promptly answered by Ms. Shambhavi. The whole session was\nvery well organized by Dr. Qurratul Ain (Co-ordinator-Alumni Committee) with the great\nsupport of Director\, Prof. (Dr.) Babita Kumar.

SUMMARY:Enlightening event on World AIDS Day
DESCRIPTION:Sanskar College of Pharmacy and Research in Ghaziabad organized an enlightening event on World AIDS Day on December 1\, 2023. The participants were the first-year D. Pharm students who engaged in both oral and poster presentations dedicated to raising awareness about AIDS. This year’s theme\, “Let communities lead for 2023\,” as designated by the World Health Organization\, emphasizes the imperative for communities to assume leadership roles in combating AIDS.\nThe students comprehended the essence of the theme and comprehensively explored the roles and responsibilities of pharmacists. Through their presentations\, they elucidated on AIDS\, delving into its causes\, symptoms\, diagnosis\, available treatments\, as well as preventive and control measures.\nThis program was meticulously organized under the coordination of Mrs. Nutan Singh\, supported by Ms. Manisha and Ms. Pooja Malkani. Their efforts were guided by the HOD\, Dr. Anuradha Singh\, and our esteemed Director\, Dr. Babita Kumar.

He shared his life experiences and touched many important aspects of life in a very simple but beautiful manner. The Session was interactive and students gained a lot of knowledge.The important tool at SGIT SOM Mr.Aditya Verma (H.O.D) graced the session with their valuable words.

It’s a skill that involves quick thinking and the ability to articulate ideas effectively on the spot.Total 7 teams were participated. Winning Team was Team 3 their topic was Women Empowerment.\nAll Management faculties were present and students enhance their knowledge and skills with the help of Extempore.

The aim of this workshop was to make the students aware about the career opportunities and scope of pharmacy in Pharmaceutical Marketing and sales.\nOn second day of workshop\, Ms. Kulvinder Saluja covered some more topics including Pharma product promotion essentials and sales strategies. Then all participating students were evaluated by questionnaire. Certificates of Participation were distributed to all the students for their active participation. Director Prof. (Dr.) Babita Kumar motivated the students to use information and knowledge gained in this workshop throughout their career.\nMore than 200 students from B.Pharm third year and final year\, HOD-Pharmacy\, Dr. Shabnam Ain\, Dr. Anuradha Singh\, Dr. Qurratul Ain\, Dr. Ajeet\, faculty co-ordinators Ms. Monika Dhaka & Ms. Akshoo Rathi\, Ms. Nutan\, Ms Deepti Aggarwal\, Ms. Reenu Chauhan and all other faculty members actively participated in this workshop with a greater zeal and enthusiasm. The session was very interactive and the lecture was very well received by the participants. Some of the students who actively participated and answered the questions were given prizes also. On this occasion\, Chairman- SEG\, Shri Manoj Kumar Gupta ji motivated the faculty members to conduct this type of workshop from time to time to improve the technical skills of students and conveyed good wishes to all buddy pharmacists for their bright future.

DESCRIPTION:Sanskar College of Pharmacy\, Ghaziabad organized guest lecture on Nutrition by Dr. Neeraj Garg\, CMO\, Sarvodya Hospital\, Ghaziabad during the celebration of 62nd National Pharmacy Week (NPW) from 22nd to 25th November\, 2023 to acknowledge the valuable contribution of our pharmacists in healthcare delivery of our country. The theme selected for this year is: “Join Pharmacists to Ensure Patient Safety”.\nThe eminent speaker\, Dr. Neeraj Garg delivered a lecture on “Nutrition”. It is a critical part of health and development. Better nutrition is related to improved infant\, child and maternal health\, stronger immune systems\, lower risk of non-communicable diseases (such as diabetes and cardiovascular disease) and longevity.\nHe also explained: How does poor nutrition affects on heath? Consuming unhealthy food and beverages\, such as sugar-sweetened beverages and highly processed food can lead to weight gain\, obesity and other chronic conditions that put people at higher risk of at least 13 types of cancer.\nDr. Neeraj emphasized on improving eating pattern and healthy lifestyle. People with healthy eating patterns live longer and are at lower risk for serious health problems such as heart disease\, type II diabetes\, and obesity.\n\n\nThe lecture was very well received by the D.Pharm. B.Pharm and M.Pharm. students. The information and practical insight in his deliberation will be useful for the students throughout their career. The event was very well co-ordinated by Dr Qurratul Ain\, Dr Shabnam Ain\, Dr Anuradha Singh\, Dr. Ajeet\, Ms. Reenu and Ms. Nutan. DESCRIPTION:Sanskar College of Pharmacy and Research celebrated 62nd National Pharmacy Week (NPW) from 21st to 24th November\, 2023 to acknowledge the valuable contribution of our pharmacists in healthcare delivery of our country. Each year welcomes a new theme to develop the showcase the pharmacist in their positive effect on health. The theme selected for this year is: “Join Pharmacists to Ensure Patient Safety”. A Pharmacist is a member of the health care team directly involved with patient care and practice in the field of health sciences focusing on safe and effective use of medication. Pharmacists are the persons who understand the mechanism of action of drugs\, drug uses\, therapeutic roles\, side effects\, potential drug interactions and communicate this specialized knowledge to patients\, physicians\, and other health care providers. Each year welcomes a new theme to develop the showcase the pharmacist in their positive effect on health. The event started with traditional auspicious lamp-lightening ceremony as a tribute to MAA Saraswati. Different competitions (Pharma Quiz\, Oral Presentation and Pharma-extempore) were organized to bring out the innate talent of the students. The students had actively participated in the celebration with great zeal and enthusiasm. In Oral presentation competition first and second Position was hold by Cutee (B.Pharm I yr)\, Muskan (D. Pharm I yr) and Abhisha John (B.Pharm I yr)\, Hira (D. Pharm II yr). In extempore competition first\, second and third Position was hold by Varun (B.Pharm II yr)\, Kirti (B.Pharm IV yr) and Akash (B.Pharm IV yr). Team Mars- Himani Singhal (B.Pharm IV yr)\, Tushar Tomer (B.Pharm III yr)\, Aanchal (B.Pharm II yr) and Abhisha Johan (B.Pharm I yr) was the winner of Quiz Competition. And the team Jupiter – Srishti (B.Pharm IV yr)\, Vipin (B.Pharm III yr)\, Varun (B.Pharm II yr) and Rajan (B.Pharm I yr) was the runner. Winners of different activities were awarded by the Director- Prof. (Dr.) Babita Kumar HOD-Dr. Shabnam Ain\, Dr. Anuradha Singh\, Dr. Qurratul Ain\, Dr. Ajeet\, Ms. Ritu Chauhan and event co-ordinators- Ms. Nidhi\, Ms. Monika\, Ms.Akshoo\, Ms. Reenu\, Ms. Deepti\, Ms. Nutan\, Ms. Pooja\, Ms. Bhawna\, Ms. Zulekha\, Ms. Narjis and Ms. Manisha. DESCRIPTION:D.Pharm I year students from Sanskar College of Pharmacy and Research\, Ghaziabad visited Awaasiya Vridhashram (Old Age Home )\, Hapur on 18 November 2023.The purpose of this visit was to make the students realise their social responsibilities towards Senior Citizens. Such visits also activate the student’s thought process to realise the agony and pain which the people go through in their old age while living away from their dear ones. The visit was intended to teach them how to interact with the elderly who may have poor hearing and understanding along with other health problems as a result of old age.\n\n\nOur students have high enthusiasm and conviction to contribute their best during their visit. The students interacted with the residents in the Old Age Home and lovingly served them fresh fruits and juices.\n\n\nThus\, the visit to the Old Age Home concluded with loads of warmth and showers of blessings extended from the elderly towards our team of students and Faculty Members. They bid us goodbye with tearful eyes but with a promise to revisit them frequently.\n\n\nThe visit was well organised by Ms.Nutan Singh under the guidance of Director Dr.Babita kumar and HODs Dr.Shabnam Ain\,Dr.Anuradha Singh.

DESCRIPTION:SGIT School of Management organized an Industrial Visit to V K Tyre India Limited\, Muradnagar\, Ghaziabad on 08/11/2023. Around 40 students alongwith Ms.Onima Ranjan (Assistant Professor ) and Ms.Sweta Chaudhary (Assistant Professor) visited the Plant. Students learnt a lot about the creating tyres in an automobile plant involves several steps. It typically starts with mixing raw materials like rubber\, carbon black and other chemicals in specific proportions. The compound is then shaped into tyre components through processes like extrusion\, calendaring\, and molding. After that\, these components are assembled\, and the tyre undergoes vulcanization-curing under heat and pressure-to achieve its final structure and properties. This process demands precision and adherence to safety standards to ensure high-quality tires for vehicles.\nBoth faculties organized and conducted the visit in a very smooth manner.

Priya Tyagi (research scholar MNIT Jaipur). it was very delightful session and students gain knowledge about the survey sample and data collection in architecture. Students also get the knowledge about how to prepare questionnaire.\nStudents would get to know that Survey data is defined as the resultant data that is collected from a sample of respondents that took a survey. This data is comprehensive information gathered from a target audience about a specific topic to conduct research. There are many methods used for survey data collection and statistical analysis.\nAr. Priya Tyagi explained various mediums which are used to collect feedback and opinions from the desired sample of individuals. While conducting survey research\, researchers prefer multiple sources to gather data such as online surveys\, telephonic surveys\, face-to-face surveys\, etc. The medium of collecting survey data decides the sample of people that are to be reached out to\, to reach the requisite number of survey responses. She also suggest that there are various Factors of collecting survey data such as how the interviewer will contact the respondent (online or offline)\, how the information is communicated to the respondents etc. decide the effectiveness of gathered data etc.

SUMMARY:Collage Making Activity
DESCRIPTION:SGIT\, School of Management was organized “Collage Making Activity” on 19 October 2023.\nCollage has been the most relevant form of art making as it is made of stuff that we come across in our day to day life.\nAll the students participated enthusiastically along with a competitive spirit.\nThe themes for the Activity was –\nG-20 summit\,\nEnvironment Conservation\,\nChandrayaan-3 Mission\,\nTechnology and\nUnity & Diversity.\n\n\nThe students were briefed about the significance of collage and expected outcome.\n\n\nThe competition started at 03:10 PM\, participants were given ample opportunities to showcase their creativity followed by the theme.\n50 students took active participation as 10 teams\, with enormous efforts which is appreciated.\n\n\nLearning outcome:\n Experiment with different resources like newspaper magazine.\n Students realized the time management skills.\n Student gained the thoughtful message from the theme like\, learning the about theme\, design\, pattern making\, dimensions & composition.\nJudges were Dr.Nidhi Singhal and Mr.Aditya Verma (H.O.D).\n*\nThe winners are :\n1)Shubh’s Team from BCA IInd Year stood I Position\n2)Aditi’s Team from MBA 1st Year stood II Position\n3)Monika’s Team from MBA 1st Year stood II Position\n4)Nisha’s Team from BFSI II Year stood III Position\n*\nEvent coordinators:\nMs.Swati Chandela\nMs.Onima Ranjan

DESCRIPTION:Ayush Sharma Webads: Sanskar College of Engineering and Technology organized Expert lecture on “Mental\nWellness” By Dr. Shishir Kumar (cunsultant neurosurgeon\, nuerointerventionist and\nendoscopic spine surgeon ) with his team Mr. Prabhas chauhan and Mr. Kartik\nChaudhary from Yashoda Hospital and research center.\n\n\nThe students listened carefully to Dr. Shishir Kumar because his lecture benefitted the\nstudents with his knowledge and experience about mental health. The session was very\ninteractive as students asked their questions related to mental health.\n\n\nDr. Dharmendra Singh (Director of Engineering also presented his thoughts that why\nmental wellness is so much required in present time\, he encouraged students to share\ntheir problems with their loved or closed ones.\n\n\nDr. Nidhi singhal along with all HOD  of engineering\, management and faculty\nmembers were present during the lecture. The stage was coordinated by Assistant\nProfessor Ms. Soniya Tyagi.
