SUMMARY:Swachh Bharat-Swachhata Pakhwada
DESCRIPTION:Campaign for Swachh Bharat-Swachhata Pakhwada has been organized by Sanskar College of\nPharmacy and Research from 11 th September to 15 th September\, 2023.\nTo raise awareness among the students about cleanliness and the ongoing "Swachh Bharat"\ncleanliness program launched by our esteemed Prime Minister\, Shri Narendra Modi\, various\nevents including the Oath on Swachatta\, Poster Presentation\, Slogan\, Guest Lecture\, and\nNukkad Natak were organised.\nPoster presentation and slogan competition to know the importance of Swachhata were held\nOn September 11 and 12\,. These event were judged by faculty members\, Ms Reenu Chauhan\nand Dr.Ajeet. The first Winner for Poster presentation was Sonia Rajput (B.Pharm I year).\nAnkush Sharma (D.Pharm Ist year) and Anurag (B.Pharm II Year) bagged second and third\nposition respectively.\nThe First winners for Slogan Competition were Anurag and Angel Riya (B.pharm II year).\nAbheesha John & Cutee (B.Pharm I year) scored Second position. Third position was bagged by\nAlisha and Aksha (D.Pharm I year) / Alisha ashraf and Tannu (B.pharm I year).\nA guest lecture on the topic of Menstrual Hygiene was delivered on 13th September by Dr.\nAkshatha Garg\, a renowned personality and the District Pediatric Cancer Chairperson. She\nadvised to girls and female faculty members to take care of their health by adopting many good\npractices.\nOn 14 th September\, Nukkad Natak (street play) was performed in the nearby area by the first-\nyear students of B.Pharm and D.Pharm programs.\nAll the events were meticulously coordinated by Ms. Deepti Aggarwal and Ms. Nutan Singh with\nthe guidance of Dr. Anuradha Singh.

SUMMARY:National Pharmacovigilance Week
DESCRIPTION:Sanskar College of Pharmacy and Research\, Ghaziabad celebrated “National Pharmacovigilance Week” from 17th-23rd September 2023 in association with Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC)\, Ghaziabad. On this occasion different events (Poster making competition\, Oral Presentation\, Extempore and Essay writing competition) were organized on 18th\, 19th\, 20th September 2023. Further a virtual interaction of Mr.Vipin Sharma (Team Lead-Signal Division\, PvPI\, IPC) was arranged with the students to make them aware of the role of Pharmacist in Pharmacovigilance on 21st September 2023. More than 250 students of D.Pharm & B.Pharm attended and more than 150 students participated in all the events with great zeal and enthusiasm. The event was very well co-ordinated by all faculty event Coordinators (Ms. Nidhi Jain\, Ms.Nutan\, Ms. Deepti Aggarwal\, Ms. Reenu Chauhan\, Ms. Monika\, Ms.Pooja\, Ms. Zulekha\, Ms. Manisha\, Ms.Narjis\, Ms.Bhawna and Ms.Indu). Winners of different activities were awarded by Director\, Prof. (Dr.) Babita Kumar\, HODs- Prof. (Dr.) Shabnam Ain\, Prof. (Dr.) Anuradha Singh and overall coordinator Prof. (Dr.) Q. Ain. They appreciated them for their exuberant participation.

SUMMARY:World Pharmacists’ Day
DESCRIPTION:Sanskar College of Pharmacy and Research celebrated World Pharmacists’ Day on 25th\nSeptember\, 2023. The purpose of the celebration was to spread the awareness about the important\nrole of Pharmacists in healthcare system. On this day\, all the services offered by Pharmacists are\nrecognized and valued. Each year welcomes a new theme to develop the showcase the pharmacist in\ntheir positive effect on health. The theme of this year’s world pharmacist day is “PHARMACISTS\nSTRENGTHENING HEALTH CARE SYSTEM: ANGDAAN MAHADAAN”. This theme was\nchosen to reflect the numerous contributions of pharmacy professionals to strength the health care\nsystem.\nThe event started with traditional auspicious lamp-lightening ceremony as a tribute to MAA\nSaraswati which was followed by Oath taking ceremony by budding Pharmacists\, Dignitaries &\nFaculty members. Beautiful song performances by B.Pharm students gave a divine start to the World\nPharmacists Day celebration. The Chief Guests for the program were Shri S. L. Nasa\, Ex-President\nof IHPA & Ex-Registrar- Delhi Pharmacy Council and Dr Jai Prakash\, Senior Principal Scientific\nOfficer\, IPC\, Ghaziabad who gave an inspirational speech to motivate the buddy pharmacists. Shri\nS.L. Nasa ji explained about important sections of Pharmacy Act 1948 and National Pharmacy\nEducation Policy 2020. He also emphasized the role of pharmacists and the contributions made by\nthem to the health care system. Dr Jai Prakash focused on the safety of drugs\, medical devices and\nother health products. They felicitated both Ms. Kritika Gaur and Ms. Neha Sharma with cash prize\nof Rs. 2100/- for getting admission in Master in Advanced Cosmetic Sciences at University of\nBologna\, Italy. They also felicitated Gulafsha Chaudhary with cash prize of Rs. 2100/- for\nQualifying GPAT and NIPER Exam and getting admission in Jamia Hamdard University (NIRF-2).\nOn the eve of pharmacist day\, different competitions (Pharma Quiz\, Oral Presentation\, Logo &\nTagline\, Debate and Rangoli competitions) were organized to bring out the innate talent of the\nstudents. The students had actively participated in the celebration with great zeal and enthusiasm. In\nlogo & tagline competition first and second Position was hold by Alisha Ashraf (B.Pharm I yr) and\nHimani Bansal (B.Pharm I yr). In debate competition\, Somya Sarika\n(B.Pharm IV yr) was winner in affirmative side while Anurag\n(B.Pharm II yr) was winner of negative side of the topic. Somya Sarika\n(B.Pharm IV yr) and Aditya Raj (B.Pharm II yr) got the first and Second prize in oral competition.\nHimani Singhal (B.Pharm IV yr)\, Gunank Gupta\n(B.Pharm III yr)\, Devashish Pal ((B.Pharm II yr) and Himani Bansal (B.Pharm I yr) was the winner\nof Quiz Competition. And the team of Diploma I st year students (Tuba\, Aksha\, Ankit Tomer and\n\n\nAayush Puri) was the winner. Winners of different activities were awarded by the dignitaries Shri S.\nL. Nasa\, Dr Jai Prakash\, Director- Prof. (Dr.) Babita Kumar\, HOD-Pharmacy\, Dr. Shabnam Ain and\nDr. Anuradha Singh. After the event\, Dignitaries and students planted the medicinal plants in herbal\ngarden and inaugurated Model Pharmacy in the college. On this occasion\, Chairman- SEG\, Shri\nManoj Kumar Gupta ji and Treasurer- SEG\, Mr. Kush Aggarwal congratulated all winner students\nand conveyed good wishes to all buddy pharmacists for their bright future. The function was\nattended by students of D.Pharm\, B.Pharm and M.Pharm courses with all faculty members\nincluding\, Dr. Q.Ain\, Ms. Ritu Chauhan\, Dr. Ajeet and Administrative officer\, Mr. Ashish Mittal.

SUMMARY:World Heart Day
DESCRIPTION:Sanskar College of Pharmacy and Research\, Ghaziabad celebrated World Heart Day with the theme “Use Heart Know Heart” on 29th September\, 2023. The purpose of this awareness program was to make the students aware of symptoms\, various causes of diseases\, healthy diet plan and importance of physical activities to make heart healthy. All D.Pharm Ist year students enthusiastically participated in poster and oral presentations and shared their knowledge about the Heart The event was well coordinated by faculty members\, Ms. Manisha Kumari\, Ms. Pooja Malkani and Ms Nutan Singh under the guidance of HOD\, Dr. Anuradha Singh. Director\, Dr. Babita Kumar and HOD\, Dr. Shabnam Ain appreciated the students and faculty members for their efforts to celebrate this day enthusiastically.

DESCRIPTION:To pay tribute to the Father of the Nation \, a great freedom fighter “Mahatma Gandhi”.\nSGIT School of Management organised a Poster Presentation Competition on the occasion of “GANDHI JAYANTI & SWACHHATA HI SEWA PAKWADA” on the theme – Ek Tarikh\,Ek Ghanta\,Ek Sath.\nStudents through their beautiful creatives displayed on Gandhiji’s life and his freedom struggle conveying his message of non-violence and truth.Students were conveyed their knowledge and skills with the help of Role play\,poster making\,poetry\,essay recitation and collage making.\nAn Appreciation Certificate was provided to all participants.\n\n\nStage was coordinated by Assistant Professors Ms. Soniya Tyagi and Ms. Sweta chaudhary.
