SUMMARY:International Day of Non-Violence
DESCRIPTION:Sanskar Educational Group celebrated " International Day of Non-Violence” on October 2\, 2023.\nOn this International Day of Non-Violence\, we commemorate not only the 154th birth\nanniversary of Mahatma Gandhi but also the timeless values he championed: mutual respect and\nunderstanding\, justice\, and the power of peaceful action. The purpose of the celebration was to create\nawareness among students and to understand the concept of Non-Violence\, which is not a\nstrategy but a way of life. It promotes understanding\, respect\, and mutual cooperation\, making it a\ncrucial component of a peaceful society. Students need to learn skills of negotiation\, problem solving\n\, critical thinking\, and communication that will enable them to resolve conflicts without\nresorting to violence. More than 100 students of Pharmacy\, Engineering\, Management\, and\nArchitecture were joined with great zeal and enthusiasm. The event was very well addressed by\nProf. (Dr.) Shabnam Ain (HOD-Pharmacy)\, Mr. Mahesh Kumar Sharma (HOD-CSE) and Mr.\nAditya Verma (HOD-SOM) under the able guidance of Honorable Chairman\, Shri Manoj Kumar\nGupta ji and Director Pharmacy\, Prof. (Dr.) Babita Kumar and Director of Engineering\, Prof. (Dr.)\nDharmendra Singh.

Rakesh Alawadhi(Director) shared his valuable experience with students.\nProf. Ar. Jitendra Sharma\, Ar. Juhi Suvarna and Er. Aanchal Sharma also shared their thoughts on women’s empowerment and encouraged students.\nAll other faculty members and students of all years participated actively in the Events.

Goenka University\, Gurugram. Ms. Malik's\ntalk centered on the expanding horizons of the pharmaceutical field in India\nand her remarkable journey\, including how she secured the prestigious\nReliance Foundation Scholarship of 6 lakhs for post-graduation.\nThe enlightening session\, spanning an hour\, was a compelling exploration\nof the growing scope of the pharmacy profession in India. Ms. Priya Malik\nshared her experiences\, insights\, and career advice with the aspiring\npharmacists\, instilling motivation and a vision for success. The alumni talk\nfacilitated direct interactions between the students and Ms. Priya Malik\,\nproviding a platform for the young pharmacists to seek guidance. Many\nstudents engaged in one-on-one discussions with Ms. Malik after the\nsession concluded. The success of the event was made possible through\nthe well-organized efforts of Ms.Reenu\, Ms. Monika\, Ms Indu and Dr.\nAnuradha Singh\, the Head of the Department\, and the unwavering support\nof Director Prof. (Dr.) Babita Kumar.

It was a moment of great pride for the SEG family to interact with\nMr. Rahul Tyagi\, alumnus of B.Pharm (20011-2015) Batch\, working as a Product Manager at Sun\nPharma\, Gurugram-Haryana\, India. The talk was delivered on the growing scope of Pharmacy in\nIndia. He addressed the audience by sharing his overwhelming experience in the Institution.\nThe entire session spanned for 1 hour in which he highlighted his experiences\, opinions and about\ncareer with the young budding pharmacists for becoming a growing professional. Many students\ninteracted with him one-on-one after the talk was over. The talk was simple\, energetic\, inspiring\n\, and motivating for the students to pursue a more fulfilling career. The participants raised many\ndoubts and queries which were promptly answered by Mr. Rahul Tyagi. The whole session was\nvery well organized by Dr. Qurratul Ain (Coordinator-Alumni Committee) and faculty members\nMs. Nidhi Jain\, Ms. Reenu Chauhan\, and Ms.Indu Yadav with the great support of Director Prof.\n(Dr.) Babita Kumar.

DESCRIPTION:Ayush Sharma Webads: Sanskar College of Engineering and Technology organized Expert lecture on “Mental\nWellness” By Dr. Shishir Kumar (cunsultant neurosurgeon\, nuerointerventionist and\nendoscopic spine surgeon ) with his team Mr. Prabhas chauhan and Mr. Kartik\nChaudhary from Yashoda Hospital and research center.\n\n\nThe students listened carefully to Dr. Shishir Kumar because his lecture benefitted the\nstudents with his knowledge and experience about mental health. The session was very\ninteractive as students asked their questions related to mental health.\n\n\nDr. Dharmendra Singh (Director of Engineering also presented his thoughts that why\nmental wellness is so much required in present time\, he encouraged students to share\ntheir problems with their loved or closed ones.\n\n\nDr. Nidhi singhal along with all HOD  of engineering\, management and faculty\nmembers were present during the lecture. The stage was coordinated by Assistant\nProfessor Ms. Soniya Tyagi. DESCRIPTION:The sanskar college of architecture and Planning organized a guest lecture by Ar. Priya Tyagi (research scholar MNIT Jaipur). it was very delightful session and students gain knowledge about the survey sample and data collection in architecture. Students also get the knowledge about how to prepare questionnaire.\nStudents would get to know that Survey data is defined as the resultant data that is collected from a sample of respondents that took a survey. This data is comprehensive information gathered from a target audience about a specific topic to conduct research. There are many methods used for survey data collection and statistical analysis.\nAr. Priya Tyagi explained various mediums which are used to collect feedback and opinions from the desired sample of individuals. While conducting survey research\, researchers prefer multiple sources to gather data such as online surveys\, telephonic surveys\, face-to-face surveys\, etc. The medium of collecting survey data decides the sample of people that are to be reached out to\, to reach the requisite number of survey responses. She also suggest that there are various Factors of collecting survey data such as how the interviewer will contact the respondent (online or offline)\, how the information is communicated to the respondents etc. decide the effectiveness of gathered data etc.

SUMMARY:Industrial visit to Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission
DESCRIPTION:Sanskar College of Pharmacy and Research\, Ghaziabad organized visit to Indian Pharmacopoeia\nCommission\, Ghaziabad on 26 th October\, 2023 for B.Pharm III year students. Indian\nPharmacopoeia Commission (IPC) is an autonomous institution of the Ministry of Health and\nFamily Welfare which sets standards for all drugs that are manufactured\, sold and consumed in\nIndia. The set of standards are published under the title Indian Pharmacopoeia (IP). The visit\nprovided an excellent opportunity to students to interact with scientists and visited well equipped\nlaboratories. Students got exposure to current work practices on various equipments like High\nPerformance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC)\, Ultra-violet Spectroscopy (UV)\, Gas\nChromatography (GC) and many more as opposed to possibly theoretical knowledge being\ntaught at the college. Students also learnt about Pharmacovigilance Programme of India (PvPI)\nand Materilovigilance Programme of India (MvPI). This visit was very well co-ordinated by\nfaculty members\, Ms. Deepti Aggarwal and Ms. Reenu Chauhan.

SUMMARY:Industrial Visit
DESCRIPTION:Sanskar College of Pharmacy and Research\, Ghaziabad organized visit to Indian Pharmacopoeia\nCommission\, Ghaziabad on 27 th October\, 2023 for B.Pharm III year students & D. Pharm II year\nstudents. Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC) is an autonomous Institution of the Ministry\nof Health and Family Welfare which sets standards for all drugs that are manufactured\, sold and\nconsumed in India. The set of standards are published under the title Indian Pharmacopoeia (IP).\nThe visit provided an excellent opportunity to students to interact with scientists and visited well\nequipped laboratories. Students got exposure to current work practices on various equipments\nlike High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC)\, Ultra-violet Spectroscopy (UV)\, Gas\nChromatography (GC) and many more as opposed to possibly theoretical knowledge being\ntaught at the college. Students also learnt about Pharmacovigilance Programme of India (PvPI)\nand Materilovigilance Programme of India (MvPI). This visit was very well co-ordinated by\nfaculty members\, Ms. Akshoo Rathi and Ms. Nutan.
