SUMMARY:Industrial visit to Ptanjali Yogpeeth\, Haridwar
DESCRIPTION:Sanskar College of Pharmacy and Research\, Ghaziabad organized an Industrial visit to Ptanjali\nYogpeeth\, Haridwar on 5 th April\, 2024 for B.Pharm IV year students. Patanjali Yogpeeth is a\nNaturopathy Centre\, aimed at providing psychological and spiritual heath to people suffering\nfrom various incurable diseases through integrated therapy of Ayurveda. The Purpose of the trip\nwas the Exploration and Identification of Medicinal Plants as a Part of B.Pharm Curriculum.\nHerbal Garden Visit was very insightful to know that the 900 species of Medicinal Plants are\nbeing used in the treatment of various ailments without any side effects. The beauty of Ayurveda\ncould clearly be seen and felt. There were 43 Students and 2 Faculty Members (Mr. Sazid Khan\nand Mr.Ankur Yadav) who became a part of the Industrial Trip. The visit was very well co-\nordinated by Dr. Qurratul Ain. Such Industrial Visits are very important for the intellectual\ngrowth of students. Practical experiences prepare and nurture the knowledge of students.

SUMMARY:Annual Convocation Ceremony
DESCRIPTION:Sanskar Educational Group proudly celebrated its annual convocation ceremony on 6th April 2024 for the graduated batch of 2023 in various disciplines – Engineering\, Pharmacy\, Management and Architecture. The ceremony marks the end of an era and the beginning of new chapters\, evoking a bittersweet blend of pride and wistfulness as they bid farewell to their alma mater.\nThe ceremony\, held at the Institution’s Campus\, witnessed honoring the academic achievements of its graduated students. Total 196 degrees of B.Tech\, B.Pharm. B.Arch and MBA offered by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University\, Lucknow were awarded during the ceremony.\nThe event featured inspiring speeches as well as the conferring of degrees and awards to the university and College Rank Holders of various disciplines. Chief Guest\, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor – AKTU\, Prof. (Dr.) Jai Prakash Pandey\, Guest of Honour\, Mr. Joydeep Mukherjee\, Managing Director-Heidelberg Cement\,\, and Prof. (Dr.) Sandeep Singhal\, Professor in Mechanical Engineering Department\, NIT\, Kurukshetra\, Chairman-SEG\, Shri Manoj Kumar Gupta\, Secretary-SEG\, Mr. Lav Agarwal\, Treasurer-SEG\, Mr. Kush Agarwal\, Director-Pharmacy\, Prof. (Dr.) Babita Kumar\, Director- Engg\, Prof. (Dr.) Dharmendra Singh\, Director- Arch\, Ar. (Dr.) Rakesh Alawadhi\, Head of Departments and faculty members of all departments congratulated and conveyed their warm wishes to all the graduates for their future endeavours during the convocation. The convocation ceremony served as a memorable milestone in the academic journey of the graduated students\, marking the beginning of new opportunities and promising futures. Nostalgic moments flooded the hearts of students during the convocation as they recall about late-night study sessions\, campus adventures and lifelong friendships forged.

SUMMARY:Industrial visit to Dabur Research Foundation (DRF)
DESCRIPTION:Sanskar College of Pharmacy and Research\, Ghaziabad organized an Industrial visit to Dabur Research Foundation (DRF) on 16th April\, 2024 for B.Pharm III year Students. DRF is an Indian Contract Research Organization established in 1979 and one of the best preclinical research facility spread over in around 75000 sq ft. area. DRF offer preclinical services in Drug Discovery and Development\, ranging from identification of potential lead molecules\, drug development to IND enabling studies to global Biotech\, Pharma\, Phytopharmaceuticals Cosmeceuticals and academia sectors. Students were exposed to various functional areas of Pharmacology\, Toxicology and Analytical laboratories and state of the art Animal Facility. There were 45 Students along with one Faculty Member (Mr. Sazid Khan) who became a part of the Industrial Trip. The visit was very well co-ordinated by Dr. Qurratul Ain. It was very informative and learning experience for students and faculty member. This visit provided an excellent opportunity to get familiar with Pharmaceutical Industry environment.
