A highly insightful and impactful Guest Lecture on Cyber Crime was conducted on April 7, 2025 at Sanskar College of Engineering and Technology, Ghaziabad by Mr. Deepak Bensla (Head Constable) and Mr. Ashwani (Sub Inspector) from the Cyber Crime Branch, Hapur.

Mr. Deepak Bensla shared detailed information about the various types of cyber crimes, including digital arrest scams, OTP bypass techniques, phishing, social media fraud, and financial cyber frauds. He explained how cybercriminals manipulate victims by creating fear or urgency—especially in cases of digital arrest, where innocent individuals are threatened with fake legal consequences.

The lecture also covered how OTPs (One-Time Passwords) can be compromised through social engineering tricks, phishing links, and fake customer care calls—educating students and faculty on how to recognize and avoid such threats.

The session was extremely informative and emphasized the need for cyber awareness and digital hygiene in today’s interconnected world.
