SGIT School of Management organised an Industrial Visit to ”NAMASTE INDIA”, Modinagar, Ghaziabad. Around 40 students were accompanied by two faculty members- Mr.Aditya Sharma & Mrs. Swati Chandela. The visit began with the presentation. The HR Manager gave a knowledgeable presentation about how Namaste India was established as a Cooperative unit collecting milk from farmers in rural areas and marketing in urban areas. Students actively walked through the plant with Mr. V.P Singh (Assistant general manager) who explained the whole process of manufacturing and packaging of milk and other milk products. Students were taken through the production facilities including the procurement, inventory management, quality check of milk samples in the quality control department, pasteurization process and the packaging and storage until the product was sent out of delivery. The silent feature of the plant was the wastewater management initiative in which water used in the production process is filtered and let out in open areas for Plants.
Mr. Manoj Kumar Singh (HOD) organised and conducted the visit in a very smooth manner and the visit was a great experience for the students
