Sanskar College of Pharmacy and Research, Ghaziabad organized visit to Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission, Ghaziabad on 23th, 24th & 25th October, 2024 for B.Pharm III year students & D. Pharm II year students. Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC) is an autonomous Institution of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare which sets standards for all drugs that are manufactured, sold and consumed in India. The set of standards are published under the title Indian Pharmacopoeia (IP). The visit provided an excellent opportunity to students to interact with scientists and visited well equipped laboratories. Students got exposure to current work practices on various equipments like High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Ultra-violet Spectroscopy (UV), Gas Chromatography (GC) and many more as opposed to possibly theoretical knowledge being taught at the college. Students also learnt about Pharmacovigilance Programme of India (PvPI) and Materilovigilance Programme of India (MvPI). This visit was very well co-ordinated by faculty members, Mr. Arjun Nagar, Mr. Ankur Yadav and Ms. Nutan.
