Speech Competition on “Aatmanirbhar Bharat”
The Sewa Pakhwada Campaign, an initiative by the Government of India, aims to inspire citizens to engage in community service and promote social welfare. The 2024 campaign took place from September 17 to October 2, coinciding with the celebration of Gandhi Jayanti, emphasizing the principles of service and community betterment.As part of the Sewa Pakhwada Campaign 2024, a speech competition was organized by Sanskar College of Pharmacy and Research, Ghaziabad, focusing on the theme of “Aatmanirbhar Bharat” (Self-Reliant India). This event aimed to encourage participants to explore and express their thoughts on self-reliance and the role of citizens in contributing to national development. The competition was organized on27th September and 30th September fostering a spirit of social responsibility. B.Pharm & D.Pharm Students of Sanskar College of Pharmacy and Research were participated with great zeal and enthusiasm. All the participants delivered a speech lasting 3 to 5 minutes, addressing the theme of Aatmanirbhar Bharat. By providing a platform for expression and idea-sharing, the event not only highlighted the importance of self-reliance but also encouraged community involvement. Mahfooz from B.Pharm, Alisha Ashraf, B Pharm 2nd year, Aanchal B Pharm 3rd year got first, second and third prize respectively. Ankush D Pharm 2nd year and Kanchan B Pharm 4th year were also appreciated by consolation prize. Continued efforts to promote awareness and action towards Aatmanirbhar Bharat will further strengthen our collective journey towards a self-reliant nation. The event was successfully coordinated by faculty members Ms. Bhawna Bisht and Ms. Manisha, Ms. Pooja and Mr.Ankur. Winners of this event were congratulated and appreciated by Director – Prof. (Dr.) Babita Kumar, HOD- Dr. Shabnam Ain for their exuberant participation.
