Sanskar College of Pharmacy and Research organized a blood donation camp in collaboration with Rotary Club of Ghaziabad Central on the occasion of Pharmacist Day today, September 24, 2024 in the college campus. Pharmacists’ Day is celebrated every year on September 25 across the world to recognize the contribution of pharmacists in providing better health care to the society. All the students of Sanskar Educational Group actively participated in donating blood to save the lives of people who need blood in any emergency. Blood donation also helps in reducing cardiovascular risk, cancer risk, lowering cholesterol levels, stimulating the production of new red blood cells and improving overall health. On this occasion, District Governor Rotarian Amit Gupta, Rotary Club President Rotarian Ajay Sharma, Past President Rotarian Dr. Atul Jain and Past President RNE Dr. Swati Gupta were present to motivate the blood donors. The students were inspired by the presence of SEG Management members, Mrs. Manisha Gupta, Mr. Lav Agarwal, Mr. Kush Agarwal, Director-Pharmacy Prof. (Dr.) Babita Kumar, Director-Engineering Prof. (Dr.) Dharmendra Singh, Dr. Pooja Neemey Sharma, Ar. Kumar Abhishek, Dr. Shabnam Ain, Dr. Anuradha Singh, Dr. Qurratul Ain, Dr. Ajeet, Dr. Naveen Rai, Mr. Arjun Nagar and Administrative Officer Mr. Ashish Mittal. More than 250 students, faculty members and staff members from all departments of Engineering, Pharmacy, Architecture and Management actively participated and experienced a happy and fulfilling feeling to be a blood donor.
