World Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) Day
Sanskar College of Pharmacy and Research organized World COPD Day on 20 Nov 2024.On World COPD Day, students gained valuable insights into Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), a progressive lung condition that affects millions globally. They learned about its primary causes, including smoking, air pollution, and occupational hazards, as well as its symptoms, such as breathlessness, chronic cough, and fatigue. The day emphasized the importance of early diagnosis, preventive measures, and adopting healthy lifestyle choices to manage and reduce the risk of COPD. Through interactive sessions and awareness campaigns, students also discovered the significance of creating smoke-free environments and advocating for cleaner air to combat respiratory illnesses. Additionally, they were encouraged to support those living with COPD by fostering empathy and understanding, contributing to a healthier, more inclusive society. The Event is well coordinated by Mr.Lucky Arya.
